The Intelli Diet is an iphone app that is designed to help you lose weight by telling you what to eat. It is a new way to help you meet your daily diet requirements.

How the Intelli Diet Works
It is designed to give you meal and snack suggestions for a day based on the foods you like to eat. You will have to input specific information so it can calculate the correct types of foods to suggest based on your individual make up.
You will enter in the following information:
- Starting weight and goal weight
- Gender
- Height
- Age
- Activity level
- Choose a plan (maintaining or losing weight)
- Choose rate (half pound a week to 2 pounds per week)
- Healthy food preferences
The healthy food preferences section is categorized under protein, fat, fruit, carbs, and veggies. You will simply browse through each category and click on the foods you like. Based on this information, the Intelli Diet app will calculate a daily menu that will help you work your way towards your goal weight.

The Intelli Diet is a modern way for losing weight, which is something people are always looking for, especially when their old ways are not working for them. With this diet app, you can access food suggestions any time of day wherever you are. This information is literally at your fingertips.
As technology grows, our ways of accessing information continues to grow. People will try almost anything if it will make life easier. Weight loss can be an uphill battle for many people. This diet app was designed to make losing weight an easier battle. More Intelli Diet pros include:
- Foods are based on the healthy foods you like to eat.
- It actually takes into consideration what you have in your cabinets.
- It is versatile in allowing you to exchange foods for another.
- You can record your weight loss progress.
- It gives you reminders and can even create grocery lists.
- It tracks progress with tools like the Body Mass Index.
Intelli Diet Cons
While the concept behind this diet app is going in the right direction, not all people are able to use it. It is only available for people who have the smart phones. Although technology is growing, many people are switching to the no-contract cell phones due to budget, which do not have a wide range of phones to choose from. Smart phones do not seem to be on this list. Therefore, if you do not have a smart phone, at this point in time, you cannot have access to the Intelli Diet.
Another drawback is that the app can only suggest basic ingredients to eat. It does not give you a full recipe. You will have to create recipes for meals based on the suggested ingredients. You will need to make sure the meal you prepare does not exceed the suggested calorie intake for the day.
Another drawback to the Intelli Diet is that it does not include an exercise routine. You simply need to know that your diet alone cannot help you live healthier. You must incorporate some type of fitness into your daily routine.
Bottom Line
This seems to be a great app for helping you to determine the amount and types of foods you should be eating daily. As long as you have a smart phone and are willing to incorporate an exercise routine into your day, the Intelli Diet is an excellent tool for helping to reach your weight loss goals.
