We all know that with summer comes the "summer fun", a time to relax and not worry, which also brings unhealthy eating habits. Seeing how fast food is at every turn our laziness extends to our eating. So we grab the closest and most convent things. We all fall victim to it, driving down the road and we feel a roar in our stomach. But instead of waiting to get home to eat your fruits and vegetables you see a fast food restaurant. So you pull up to the drive-thru and order a number three which costs you seven dollars on a greasy, unhealthy meal. The summer is a time to look alive and attractive, hardly a good time to forget your diet just for convince.

But there is a way to fix all of this and to put you back on track with nutrients and loose some extra pounds for a flatter, more toned stomach. This diet is good for you in more ways than just losing some belly fat. Not only will it keep you full so you eat less, but also is full of rich nutrients to fight disease and pro-long your life. Not to forget they are packed full of fiber and protein.

It might not be the easiest task but a daily regiment of these foods is recommended to help achieve weight loss and a flatter tummy. 1. YOGURT

4. TOMATOES

Try to consume around 22 mg of lycopene a day, that would be in the area of eight red cherry tomatoes a, or a cup of tomatoe juice. It might help to plant some tomatoe plants now and they should be ready for harvest in July or August.


5. SPINACH

Try to consume around one cup of fresh spinach a day or ½ cup of cooked spinach a day.

6. BLACK BEANS

If you have a daily half-cup you will consume eight grams of protein and around seven grams of fiber, plus they are free of saturated fat.


7. OATS

Oats for food to shrink bellyOats have always been seen as a healthy food. They received the first FDA seal of approval. Oats are full of soluble fiber, this lowers the penitential for heart disease. Although oats are packed full of carbs, all the sugar is released slowly due to all the fiber. With a half-cup a day you will only consume ten grams of protein, and it will provide you with energy all day .

8. WALNUTS

Walnuts for foodWalnuts are amazingly good for you. They are full of more omega-3 than salmon and more muscle strengthening protein than chicken. It is one of the most healthiest foods you could eat. A consumption of one ounce or six nuts a day is good for any diet. These are most effective before you go work out, they help supply energy to your muscles. Just keep a jar of walnuts around you home and or office to help you keep on track for your diet.
