LA Weight Loss is a diet based out of the LA Weight Loss Center. Expansion of Clubs

The LA Weight Loss Centers have weight loss clinics all over the world including LA Weight Loss Clubs in Canada and LA Weight Loss Clubs in San Diego. The program is a bit more expensive than other weight loss plans in the same field of weight loss plans. The extra money is spent for the detailed program provided to the clients of the centers. The menu plans are personalized and they include the details for the protein levels, vegetables, fruits, starches and dairy products.


The LA Weight Loss Plan system promises users they will lose up to 2 pounds per week simply be relearning how and when to eat. The tailored diet plans are what often seal the deal as they are created for each and every client based upon their current weight, physical fitness level and the amount of weight they want to lose.

The Three Stage Approach


The LA Weight Loss plan is offered in a three stage approach. The three stages include the jumpstart program, the stage 2 (6 weeks) and the stage 3.

The jumpstart program is aimed at starting your body on the losing weight journey . The plan lasts only a few days and is full of lean protein.

The second stage of the diet consumers need to learn about LA Weight Loss is the consistent program of 1,100 to 1,800 calories based upon the amount of weight you want to lose. As the stage progresses, the calories are added until the maximum calories are consumed while the client is still losing weight.
The third and final stage of the plan reintroduces foods that have previously been banned. The client will need to visit the centers on a regular basis in order to check in with the counselor and weigh in to make sure they are staying within a certain range of their goal weight. If they begin to gain weight, they will be able to start the plan again in order to lose the added weight.

The Fine Print

The details of the LA Weight Loss Diet include:

Price: Very expensive. This plan is one of the most expensive diet plans available today. While the weekly fees only run $5.00 to $8.00, the LA Weight Loss Center requires a full 12 month purchase up front. This means the client will have to spend at least $350.00 on the first day not including any of the LA Weight Loss line of foods.
Meals or Supplements: No meals or supplements are provided with the weekly fee. The client does have the option to purchase any of the foods they would like from the “LA Lite” line of bars, juice, and shakes. Many of the weight loss bars provided by LA Weight Loss Centers are sweet to taste and full of protein. These bars are often eaten more than once a day as a snack and can help keep the dieter on plan.
Length of the Diet: The LA Weight Loss Diet is The first stage lasts until the goal weight is reached. This stage may be moved as the dieter loses weight and feels they want to adjust the total weight to be lost to a higher number. The second stage lasts 6 weeks and the final stage is the lifetime part of the plan. In order to continue using the weigh ins after the first year, the client will have to purchase another one year subscription to the LA Weight Loss Plan.
Exercise: The LA Weight Loss diet does not include any specific exercise requirements, although, they do suggest you exercise on a regular basis. The inclusion of exercise with the plan may help the dieter to meet their goals faster, but LA Weight Loss Centers do not provide an exercise regime for the client to follow.
Meetings: There are no formal meetings on the LA Weight Loss Diet. The client is advised to visit the center on a regular basis in order to weigh in and receive guidance on the path of the diet plan. With an up front payment of 100% required, there is no reason for the client not to visit the center regularly. The weigh in are private and confidential.
Restaurant Eating: Eating out is totally allowed on the program offered by LA Weight Loss Centers. The plan offers guidance on the right choices to make that are both low in calorie and acceptable while on the plan. The plan even offers a list of healthy food choices from various fast food restaurants.
Alcoholic Beverages: Alcohol is allowed on the LA Weight Loss Plan Diet. The limits are one drink at a sitting and only three total drinks per week.
Vegetarian / Vegan: The menu plans can be tailored with the Vegan in mind. BBQ Tofu is one of the many choices for the vegetarian / vegan dieter.
Flexibility of Eating Plan: The eating plan on the LA Weight Loss Diet is very strict. Following the plan to the letter is expected in order to lose the weight promised by the center.
The LA Weight Loss Diet and Center has received some negative publicity over the last few years. But, for the amount of money spent on the diet, the support offered is fantastic. The first few visits alone are worth the entire years payment just for the menu plan, the weigh in and the nutritional evaluation.
For many people who choose the LA Weight Loss Center diet, they like the fact that the diet is payable 100% upfront for a year. Commonly, a dieter will get geared up to lose weight and as soon as the diet seems stale, they fall off the wagon of the plan they have chosen. With the LA Weight Loss Diet, the client has already paid, so there is nothing keeping them from heading back to the center or another evaluation should they fall off and want to hop back on again.
