Fruit Flush Diet - 3 Day Detox

Introduction

The Fruit Flush, written by Jay Robb, is probably the most successful fruit detox manual ever sold.  It has certainly spawned an entire generation of books dealing with the idea of fruit detox and while there are usually good things and bad things to most detox diets, Fruit Flush probably has a few things going for it that most other diets do not.

The Detox Story

The detox story is the one that is told about most detox diets.  These diets claim to do big things for you and in doing so really don’t end up doing that much.  Most of them are based on the idea of drinking lots of water-based substances and in those cases drinking just the water and letting your liver do its job is just as good and a lot less risky.

In the case of Fruit Flush however, the detox story is a little bit different.  The main reason for this is that all of the different foods that you are going to be eating as part of the Fruit Flush are all foods that are very good for you.  You are drinking glasses of water and glasses of water mixed with a healthy source of protein like non-fat whey powder or egg white powder.  You are eating servings of fresh fruit on a regular basis.  You are having a big salad to end off the day in style only with lean meat of some kind.  Overall, the detox story for Fruit Flush is really more like a normal diet than it is some miraculous overnight thing.

Losing the really bad weight

The main reason that Fruit Flush really has the potential to work is the simple fact that it will get rid of the really bad weight that you have.  We all retain water weight based on the consumption of toxins and the regular consumption of fresh fruit will help release natural detoxification elements that will deal with those problems and really allow you to lose a lot of the bad weight that you have accrued.

At the same time, Fruit Flush will give you the chance to get away from all of the bad parts of your diet for at least three days.  While you are following this program, you will find your hankerings for the bad foods of yesterday getting lower and lower with the passage of time.  Fresh fruit is actually very delicious and for that reason a very good way of breaking addiction to sugary foods that do nothing for you from a nutritional point of view.  It is this double dose of fitness excellence that really allows a plan like Fruit Flush to succeed where so many other detox diets have failed.

Final thoughts

Fruit Flush is definitely a book that can help you kick start a better lifestyle.  It can help you as a precursor to a food diet or it can help you stop the figurative bleeding from a bad lifestyle while you slowly start to shift over to one that is much healthier.
