I'm currently working on losing weight. So far I don't have any realistic idea yet or what's the target I'm trying to achieve. Would you think 10kg in 3 months time somehow reasonable?

I think that would be fine as long as you have goals set for yourself. Most people often fail because they never bother to use a benchmark or have goal setting to guide them.
