Changes to workout after Round 1 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
My brother is finishing Round 1 in 2 weeks. He had great results - his sixty day picture is the reason I'm on the program now. He's deciding what to do afterward. He doesn't want to lose any more weight but start working on bulking up. He's thinking about reducing the cardio routines and focusing on the anaerobic workouts - probably down to 4 days a week.

What would be some your thoughts on how he should approach this?

He should stick with the program in the classic form. If he does not rest, then the muscles will not have a chance to recover and regrow. Doubles is essentially designed for both weight loss and muscle building.

Thanks. I told him to make sure he rests.

You think he should stay with the classic? At this point he's losing more weight than building muscle. I told him you can't lose too much weight working like this but he thinks he'll look to thin. He wants to build muscle. Will the second round build more muscle than first if he's dropped most of his fat?

He can raise the amount of weight he is lifting as well. Get to the 8 rep to fail range. That will surely build.
