Well, I'm in week 9 of P90X and am starting to look ahead to what I want to do next. Should I do P90X over again, or should I go to P90X Plus? Has anybody done Plus? What are the workouts like (I notice it's only 5 dvds). How many days per week do you work out and how many weeks?

p.s. I'm loving P90X! I can finally do push-ups on my toes and can do crane (yoga) and hold it for about 10 seconds each time - both of these were impossible for me to do in the beginning. I'm finding that suddenly everything is falling into place this week.

I am in the same boat. Addict I believe has the plus DVD's and he had some good things to say about them.

I am thinking about ordering them as well to switch things up a bit. My coach will get it to me for like $55 including shipping so there is not much to lose I guess.

In the meantime, I am doing P90X workouts like Cardio, and plyo as I just finished last week. I will probably do Biceps tonight because I am feeling like I miss it.

I was in the same boat, and jumped back on the train.

I knew I'd have to do another round of p90x as you can see from my pics i wasn't satisfied with my result. plus i was going to do it along with a better diet plan instead of just eating healthy.

I spent exactly one day outside the program before i jumped back in,instead of 1 month as I previously wanted. it went something like this. Day 91 was thursday i went to the gym and ran on the treadmill.
on Friday i decided to start a new workout routine that i found in a workout book. I got to the gym and Day 1 for that program was Shoulder and arms for 45mins, at the end I knew I had to get back on the train. when I was done I was like wow, I can keep going for I have too much energy, not to say that the workout was intense, as a matter fact it was a good workout but I would consider it a maintenance workout for a P90X grad.

I will get the P90X plus as soon i get more reviews to get a better feel for it i saw the videos and i'm not too impressed.

I actually read some reviews for the Plus the other day, and it got pretty good reviews. From what I read, you incorporate the Plus videos in with the P90X videos. The Plus ab tape is supposed to be awesome with a variety of ab work in different positions (standing, lying, hanging on pull-up bar).

I can't imagine ending this journey on day 90. I have to keep going! Although I don't wish to lose any more than 5 pounds more at the most, I would love to get more cut. I think I will order the Plus videos and try them out. I will post my review of them when I get them (probably not for another 2 weeks or so).

Thanks for the tips on P90X+. I'm a week away from finishing Round 1 (not counting the rest week). I'm resting my knee tonight...must have strained it Monday night teaching Taekwondo as it has a fair amount of fluid and hurts. It's cooling off with Aleve and rest, so I decided to skip tonight and use it as a rest day. We'll see how it does!

I'm not very happy with my results...it's not the fault of P90X, or me. There's just too much fat! My weight dropped by only about 10 pounds, but I've lost two belt notches and I'm pumped in the muscles! I just need more time and hard work.

I think my next step is to move to P90X+ and use the "lean" version. I've seen some video samples, and it looks like Tony's routines will literally cook the fat off my body! I'll keep you all posted. I was too embarrassed to take Day 1 pictures during P90X, but I think I need them for P90X+ and feel that I can get the nerve to publish them here. It won't be pretty at first, but accountability is everything!

To Sparta, and beyond...

Kevin
