TOPIC: Most effective P90X workout?

Most effective P90X workout? 1 year, 10 months ago #52038

Ok, so we all have our favourites but what P90X workouts do you think are the most effective? Not necessarily the same thing. Don't count P90X+. And yes, I understand that iot's the programm as a whole that we should be concentrating on, but just for fun.
For me I think it's ARX and the legs portion of Legs & Back. Those two never fail to leave me with significant soreness the next day. I know many people find the leg routine lacking, but for some reason I really feel it afterwards. My hams espicially. I know it's not the be al, and end all but to me DOMS is a pretty good indicator of a workout's effectivness. I'm tempted to say YogaX too but it's hard to quantify just how effective that one is. I'm never sore after it but I think we'd all agree that it's unique and worthwhile.

I think Plyo, when done right with very good form. I have caught myself slacking/following the group in Plyo and you don't get as much out of it.

Really squat down low and jump up high. You'll feel like jello afterwards.

Hi Stick legs....can't fall asleep tonight so thought I would stare at computer for awhile and came across this post. Anyway, for me legs and back and plyo. I have muscles I have never seen before in my legs, hahaha.

I think yoga is the most effective because it is a total body workout and the sweat just pours off during, more then any other. On top of combo of stretching and strengthening keeping the muscles long and lean. I dont think any one workout can beat it.

definetly for weight loss Plyo is king.

Just depends who you are I guess. If you walk and lift alot for a living, legs may not be hard for you.

For me "Legs and Back" leave me with the most pain. Upper hams and butt muscles are always hammered the next day and even into the second day. "I hate it, but, I love it"
