Today is my 90th Day. I can come on here and call myself a P90X graduate! So I've read as much as I could about what people do after they finish. I want to do another round but I also want to do Insanity.

As of right now my plans are to take one week off and devise some sort of hybrid of the two programs. I would like to do Insanity alone but i do not want to lose any of my muscle mass gained during P90X. I think two months of insanity will kill off some of my mass. Originally i was going to add a P90X resistance Day on my Insanity Recovery Day but i read that you need that recovery day to "heal."

So I'll keep reading and looking around for something that I am comfortable with. Until then, I will enjoy my week off and prepare myself for round 2 of whatever it is I decide to do.

Any new Grads out thee, congrats! All you vets out there, I can now be a part of your group as well!

First off, Congrats! It's tough to complete P90X and even tougher to want to increase the program afterwards.

Personally, I did P90X and then did a full round of Insanity on it's on. Yes, I lost some muscle mass but I gained massive cardio strength. My plan was to go straight from Insanity back to P90X with Insanity Cardio workouts instead of the normal ones. Sadly enough my wife gave birth (Ok, not so sad), and I've somewhat fallen off the wagon. My plan though is to do another full round of P90X and bring it with everything I've learned from P90x and Insanity, then either do another Insanity round or just mix it in with P90X.

I'd recommend doing Insanity (and getting the sweet T-shirt) then do the Hybrid system. P90X has built a strong core, now do Insanity to give it the stamina. Then go back and tweak them both in together.

Again, congrats. It's a great accomplishment that you should be proud of.

Thanks for the reply. I hear what your saying and I'm leaning towards doing a full round of Insanity, before jumping into a hybrid system.

Forgot to add my stats.

Starting Weight: 200
Body Fat %: 27

Ending Weight: 177
Body fat %: 14

I've lost 23 lbs on P90X + another 30 since my brothers wedding which was about 10 months ago, so altogether I've lost over 50lbs.
I was shooting for under 10% body fat and almost got there. A round of Insanity should get me to that goal.
