I started out at 250 lbs and now I'm at 210. I'm feeling good (not sore at all) and I have a little better definition. I can do more push-ups and pull-ups for sure. However, I did not pass the fitness test to begin with so I feel I may have been a little handicapped. I've gotten into running lately and I'd like to continue that. I'm hoping to be running 5K regularly. I'd like to do just the P90X "Chest and Back", "Shoulders and Arms", and "Legs and Back" for 3-4 weeks (M-W-F), then switch to a similar schedule with the "Chest, Shoulders & Triceps" and "Back and Biceps" for 3-4 weeks, then go with a "Legs and CHEST" workout where I substitute the back exercises with chest exercises. Does this make sense? My cardio would mainly come from my 3 days of running each week.

I would go for another round of p90x and replace plyo kenpo and Yoga for your running and move yoga at least the first 45mn to Sunday

Second cycles of P90X are pretty killer.

The very first time I did P90X it was pretty rough. I was 208 lbs, which I believe was something like 28% BF. I had decent leg muscles, good triceps, and my abs weren't terrible.

I had to modify the hell out of the whole series. By the time I got to the end, I was almost to the point of little modification.

The second cycle, I really focused on "getting rid of all modifications." The only modifications I left in were the ones making an exercise harder. Soon as I got to the point where I could keep up 100% of the time with the crazy kids on the video, that is when P90X truly starts.

That is when you truly see the results. When you are pushing just as hard as the people on the video, or even harder. I don't think I was really in the proper "starting" condition to do P90X until somewhere in the middle of my second cycle.

If you think you have more to lose? Keep doing it. Take your week recovery, and hit another 90 days! Whats the worst you could lose? Some fat! Bam.
