2 Weight training workouts a week- 3 cardio? 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I am a week away from graduating classic p90x and i am seeking some advice about what workouts to continue after the program. I have gained 8 pounds since starting p90x in April. I would like to lose a few pounds maybe 10 so i am thinking that the lean p90x may be the route for me. I was thinking of doing 2 weight lifting workouts a week followed by one day plyometrics one day kenpo and one day my elliptical for 75 minutes and ab ripper 3 times a week. ( i may change up the cardio sometimes and do cardio x and core synergistics). I am not going to continue to do yoga because i HATE it and with all the other workout possibilities there is no reason for me to do yoga and be doing something i hate. Overall i am happy with my p90x results and have seen a major difference in arm and ab definition. I would like to see some weight loss and more of a lean look with less bulk in my legs so that is why i think i need to take out one weight workout and add an extra cardio day a week (somewhat following the lean p90x outline in the fitness guide). I also only want to workout 5 days a week instead of the 6 that were required on the program. So overall i would like some advice on what i should do. Thanks!

Well, if you want to lean out your legs, I would consider dropping the L&B workout, and keeping the upperbody workouts. You will get plenty of leg and butt work with plyo and kenpo.
