When should I take it? Before or after? Before and after or not take it at all? I am trying to lose weight and gain muscle mass. I'm on day 30 and have lost 7.8 pounds so far. Starting weight was 184.6. Should I continue taking creatine? If so, when? It's the body Fortress brand from Walmart and has 33grams of sugar

Dump it. Pure creatine monohydrate powder from GNC is the best and pretty inexpensive. Creatine is not neccessary but it will help with muscle development.

33 grams of sugar is not good. Probably is fructose based but you need lower carbs if weight loss is important.

Taking creatine before will help you push a little harder during the workouts. After helps with muscle recovery. You should cycle off creatine for 2 weeks after you've been on for 6 weeks.

I would urge caution when taking any creatine products. I decided to start a product called Jack3d when I began this round. I was taking the minimum recommended dosage and it made me feel great for workouts. I had a blood test a few weeks in and the results came back with high ALT levels which could indicate liver damage. I told my doctor I was using this product and he asked me to stop taking it and come back in a few weeks later for another test. I did and the my results were borderline but within normal territory again. I have previously read many articles claiming that creatine is safe but have read an equal number saying that it can cause side effects. There is no 100% proof that the creatine was the cause but it definitely seems to point that way. I also know not everyone's body reacts the same. So if you decide to use creatine I would just recommend you be cautious and possibly check with your doctor first.

Best of luck everyone.

Ron G I would highly doubt that has anything to do with the Creatine.Jack3d does have creatine in it, but it also has a whole bunch of other stuff as well. Jack3d is a chemical $***storm to be honest with you. They are considering taking it off the shelves actually. It has DMAA in it (you might want to look that up) I am sure once you realize what this is you will see why you were "feeling great" for your workouts. Also the ridiculous dosage of caffeine. Do not slander a good, reputable supplement like creatine because of Jack3d. Yes it contains creatine, but that is one of the cleaner ingredients in that supplement. Creatine has been proven time and time again to be highly beneficial for anyone no matter what their goals or specific training technique.

I been trying out I.F. for about 6 months now on and off. When I stick to it I see good results in fat loss. I typically do a 36hr fast followed by 3 day of feeding. Those 3 days I only eat from 12-8 pm. Just trying to find others whom have tried this and have seen success.
