Recovery week is after every third week of muscle building exercises. It is labeled a recovery week as you let your muscles do some needed repair, but it is fair from being easy...two days of yoga and a day of core synergistics are not even close to being easy. I enjoyed the week but was missing all the push ups and pull ups.
Also, from your other post. If you are injured then you will need to make the decision on whether or not you can continue with exercises that target your injury. I tweaked my shoulder in week two and was out from doing pushups for an entire week...I finished everything else and re-evaluated the next time I had to do push ups again. Lucky for me, I was good to go. If you have existing knee issues I would modify to work around it. The one guy in plyo was hopping around better than I was and he only had one leg. I definitely wouldn't do anything to aggravate your issue. Yoga is essential to P90x but I know you can get a lot out of it if you worked around your knee.
Just my thoughts on this....

I too am in Recovery week and I just finished day one of it, and I do love yoga, and I've heard that it's a time for the muscles to repair and grow and hopefully I can shed a few pounds from all the cardio. I need to get some heavier weights for phase 2!
