I have mixed feelings about starting P90X.

I've always seen the commercials on TV and I actually have a couple of friends at school who have just started it, so I figured why not give it a shot.

In the past 3 years my weight has changed greatly.

In the beginning of 2006 I weighed in at 255lbs and dropped down to 165lbs. By the end of 2007 I was back up to 180lbs and fluctuated from there to 165 until April of 2009. I dropped down to around 148 where I am now and really just want to get toned. I'm 24 years old and 5'10".

My body is just kinda there, skinny, but no real tone to it, so I am hoping that P90X is the magic tool that kick starts the transformation of my body into something better.

I am not a stranger to fitness or hard work, as you can tell (I've lost over 100lbs) but I just hope I can stick to this and I don't make this a numbers thing. I've got a lot of body image issues, but that's to be expected.

Anyways, I just wanted to share my story and say thanks for all the inspiration, I love reading what you guys have to say and I look forward to sharing my transformation with you!

Start: 9.10.09 - 148lbs

Joey- first of all Congratulations on all your weight loss. That alone is an inspiration I bet to a lot of people. This program is really hard but like you said you're no stranger to hard work so you will get through it. Now that you've lost the weight, with this program you will be able to tone up and look good with your shirt off. Something I've never been able to do. I too was a fat kid growing up then got thin through High School and during My Air Force time. But since I've been out of the military in 2004 I go up and down in weight when I started p90x I was 217lbs and a month before that 225lbs, I am now on day 32 and I currently weigh 205lbs!!! But most importantly I'm looking and feeling a lot better, I'm even aiming at getting a halloween costume that will show off my new body. Just bring it Joey everyday and you will love the results you have nothing to lose... Jose

Thank you!

I am starting on Monday (I pushed it back, I know, bad Joey...but I guess I wasn't ready) but I am going to stick to it.

I really hope that I get some great results!
