TOPIC: skipping 1 week

skipping 1 week 4 years ago #1967

im suppose to start my 3rd week today but i cant. I have skoliosis so yeah anyone have that? Well at the doctor today i pulled a muscle on my back or something and she said i cant lift for one week. I was laughing so hard cause i would never do that but then she said it might scar and stuff so i guess i have to stop for a 1 week. Will that mess up my results?

I wouldn't sweat one week. You may want to consider just starting over from day one, which I know sucks but you only were 14 days into it and with 7+ days off I think it makes the most sense. Hope you are back to health soon.

I've had so many set backs with mine:
1) Went on vacation and stayed longer than expected = 5 days off

2) Gave blood one day and did Shoulders & Arms that night and my blood vessel busted so I took about 4 days off because it was looking pretty nasty.

3) Pulled a muscle in my back the other day doing Yoga or Cardio. I'm not sure which one but it's still hurting (only really when I sneeze now) so I'm gonna take a few more days off b/c I don't wanna do anything permanent to it.

I think I might as well start over. It sucks because tomorrow is Day 30 I think. Even with all these setbacks I've seen great results in my arms, shoulders, back, and abs.

DiscoV,

I wouldn't start over - Go ahead and start with phase II. Don't think of this program as just a 90 day venture. Once you have completed your first 90 days, you will want to start it again.

Thanks. I think I decided this last night, too. I really want to start Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. Also, to make up for it, I think I'm going to do Doubles. I run anyway and I never feel like I have enough cardio in the workouts. I'm really in this to get more lean than bulking up. But since I don't have much muscle to start with anyway, I will do Doubles instead of Lean or Classic.
