females doing P90x 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi I was just wondering if there are any females who are just starting P90x or have been doing it for awhile. I have many questions and am looking for someone to share stories with.

I'm doing the p90x lean program. I started 1/25/10. I really like it so far. I'd be happy to talk and share stories with you.

I am on week five of the classic I see some results not a whole lot. but I have not been following the food guide, instead I have been eating clean and having 2 serving of protein, 2 starches 4 veggies 3 fruits 3 fats and not really losing much weight, I want to do the lean but will wait until I am done with classic, I am in fairly good shape just need to lose some saddlebags and muffin top.. are you losing much weight,

I lost 5lbs the first week and 10 1/2 inches from all over. I only weigh and measure myself once a week. I was very impressed with my results from week one and it was very motivating.

I started the P90X today. This is my 2nd time.

I have a question for girls, which program do you do? Lean or Classic??
The fist timeIi did p90x I messed up, I did lean in the phase 1, then the classic in phase 2.

Hi, I am just starting today! Me and my b/f are doing it together. Have you tried it? I am excited about it. I know it will be hard, but the results will be well worth it!

I am just following the meal planner. Just modify to suit your tastes, but be sure its meeting the needs of your program.

I too am about to start (as soon as the package arrives). I also was wondering if women are choosing to do lean vs. classic and why? Any insite is much appreciated.

Re:females doing P90x 1 Month ago Karma: 2
I chose lean instead of classic because I wanted to lose more weight and get leaner. I have quite a bit I want to lose and tone up, so I did lean first and after I finish it I plan to go on and do the classic next.

Re:females doing P90x 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Glad to see that other females are doing the program.

I have been on the forum looking at everyones good work, however, I am a bit worried because most of you are already fit and I am still a ways from it. Just over a year ago I tipped the scales at over 265 on my 5'4" frame. I so far have lost 57 lbs with at least 53 to go (currently at 208). I have been working out and eating better, however, I keep hitting plateaus with my current workout routine. I'm hoping that this program is what I need to get closer to reaching my goal. I'm planning on going with the lean program. Any suggestions?

Sarah

texaschick...it's ok...I'm 5'4...start out with alternating the cardio dvds for a while and maybe yoga...keep loosing and then when you are down some...then add in the rest and start your 90 days...or do the lean version..it's time consuming but you can loose fat and gain muscle that way too!
