Can anyone suggest a good adjustable dumbbell?

I've heard of bowflex's adjustable dumbbells, but heard from some people that it can break easily over time..

Anyone know of an adjustable dumbbell that is sturdy and reliable?

I use the SelectTech. I have been using them since day one of my first round of P90X. I am on my second round now. No problems so far. Btw, a lot of folks like the PowerBlocks.

I am very happy with my Bowflex dumbbells.

If you are considering the Powerblocks, see if there is a dealer within driving distance to you. It's not only nice to try them out and see if you like the shape but I was pleasantly surprised by the discount they offered and no shipping. Even paying sales tax it was cheaper than ordering from online dealers.

I have to second the powerblocks. Just received my sport 9's and LOVE them. They are smaller than any other set out there and flat on the ends so you can rest them on your thighs comfortably for bench or overhead press.

The Bowflex Selectech 5/52s are on sale at Sports Authority right now for $399.00 plus a FREE stand.

I picked them up about a week a go and have been VERY happy. I looked at the powerblocks and a bunch of other brands. This deal pushed them over the top for me.

Thanks for all the suggestions and not being able to reply back. Been too busy! I purchased the bowflex dumbbells and I'm loving it! Got it for a good price too!
