Hey Everyone,
Don't knock the 10 Minute Trainer until you have tried it. OMG...it's intense!! It's not going to give you the same results as P90X...nor is it intended to.
It's for people who, hate to workout, don't have much time to work out, or can't commit to something as extreme as P90 or P90X.
It's 10 mins of really intense workouts. The stacking idea works. Most people (take for example, my mom) insist they don't have time to work out. Tony's concept is: if he can get you to do one 10 minute workout, you'll probably want to stack it with another. Most people end up doing 2 or 3 of the Ten Minute DVD's once they get started.
Even if you do only 10 minutes....it's better than nothing. Like anything...if you commit to it you'll see results.
I just sent it to my mom. I know the ad on TV is a little "cheesy" for lack of a better word. Tony doesn't particularly LOVE that ad either. But we have to remember, not everyone is dedicated to fitness. That ad is not catered to P90 or P90X users. It's for the person who is sitting on their coach at 2am, watching TV, eating junk and not exercising. Tony lives, eats and breathes what he does. If you have actually watched the ad, Tony sheds a few tears over the 60 year old guy who changed his life with the program. That's real guys.
Every one of Tony's workouts are tried on "test groups" BEFORE they are ever released to the public. The people in the ads are from the test groups. Ten Minute Trainer tested through the roof. Tony's mission is to reverse the trend of obesity. He's not just trying to sell a bunch of P90X DVD's and walk away. He is really committed to helping people change their lives for the better.
P90X makes him look cool. I agree. It gets me pumped.
If I had 100lbs to lose....he'd look much cooler to me in the Ten Minute Trainer.
I personally think it is a great workout and it's for the average person.
Highly recommended
