One thing I read were the balls that you'll need to buy don't have to be medicine balls. They will be for stability, not weight, so you could get away using something much cheaper like basketballs. Also, the plyocide step you will only be jumping down from... not up... so you can use a chair.

In a recent interview Tony mentioned that they wanted to take it up a level in P90X2 which is why they introduced quite a bit of new equipment (medicine balls, stability balls, weighted bars, foam rollers, plyo boxes, etc). However, he also mentioned that they show alternatives to all of the new equipment for those that don't want to make the investment.

Good info - I also heard that Tony tore his bicep muscle. I read it somewhere. I hope that doesn't delay the release of p9x2.

Yes, ST announced it on these boards and shortly after Beachbody made it public. He tore his bicep muscle during a gymnastics type routine during one of his Sunday beach workouts. This was done after P90X2 was done shooting.
