I get hyped over seeing the before and after pics. I agree that in all the pictures, the most drastic changes in weight loss come between days 30-60.
I'm only on day 9. I'll post some pictures at day 30... I'm still going to be really big, but hopefully there will be visible improvements.

those are unbelievable results man! do you have a very rigorous diet plan?
props to you
i tried doing p90x this past summer but did not commit to it, and stopped after the 3rd week
i know that the diet is the most important part, but thats where i have most trouble
i started doing p90x again 3 days ago and it feels good. i just hope i can make the right food choices and stick with it this time.

Yes i cut out all the "UN-necessary" food item out of my diet. Like soda, chips and any other devil foods hehehe. When i work out i bring it hard til the point where i cant get off the floor after wards hehe. Even in yoga XD. I think of it as my last fight for my life, give it everything you got cause it will be your last time to live!
if you feel up for it do it twice a day, like i done last month. yeah sounds crazy but i want results, like the P90x quote "Decide, Commit, and succeed". Hope it give more people more motivation to give it everything you got and push freaky harder and REALLY "BRING IT!"

Tip you should know :
-HFCS "High Fructose Corn syrup" is bad because it eliminates the enzymes from the brain telling you that your full, and hence you eat more. HFCS is unknown substance in the body, unrecognized and store as Body fat. STAY AWAY FROM HFCS!!!!

WOW! I am super impressed! Here's the thing. I've been eyeing this program for awhile, but have been burned (and burned out) in the past by other programs, so am somewhat hesitant. Your pics sure are motivating. Here's my question to you. Will this really work for ANYone? I am a 30 something-ish ( ) female that is pretty overweight. I "wear it well" I am told, people are shocked when I tell them my weight. I am at 179 but ppl guess 150-ish. At 5'2", I think it shows bad. I've always been "thick". In my twenty's, I was 38-22-36, and realistically, I know I may not ever get that back, but I need to get close. Being overweight is just killing me. I hardly leave the house (and never for social fun), I avoided my HS reunion, people from my past that have found me on social sites want to get together, but I keep putting them off, I am so ashamed of my weight. My biggest problem, is I am a great cook. I LOVE to cook, and I learned from my hispanic g-ma, which means I don't cook very healthy. Lots of homemade bread, homemade pasta, sauces, gravies and deserts. Mexican food is a constant (pretty much daily) staple in my house, complete with tortillas made the old fashioned way (ie: L A R D as an ingredient ). If I get this, I will absolutely stick to it, but I need reassurance that it CAN work for ANYbody. The workouts on the commercial seems so far beyond what I can do at this point. Also, where the heck would I get and put up a chin up bar????
So, thanks for letting an outsider view your personal space, the pics really ARE amazing!

If you go through the before and after pictures and see people transformations you'll see fit to super fit, and WAY not fit to super fit. It works for everyone. The only trick is how much dedication and motivation you bring. If you stick to the diet 100% and bring your all to every workout for 90 days, you'll be impressed. If you check out MasterLe's blog though he's doing his own diet that is VERY low in calories. There's man ways to cook healthy and delicious, the trick is learning healthy alternatives. Use unbleached or wheat flour, olive oil instead of butter (and use less), skim milk, more veggies, etc. There's a million things that are healthy to eat, you just have to emphasize them more. I got my chin-up bar from target, you can also find them pretty much anywhere, walmart, target, and any sporting goods store.
But, rest assured, P90X will work for you if you bring it.

Will intense workouts coupled with a healthy diet work for everyone?
Yup, but only if they stick with it.

Oh MAN. These photos are just so awesome. My best friend told me about the P90X today and I've been doing some research on it. I'm about 50 pounds over my ideal weight, and I'm just starting to really try to motivate myself to workout. Although this program seems really effective, it seems that it would be a little too intense for me. I'm currently using the new Wii game EA Sports Active (it's fun, don't knock it ;D) to try to get some more stamina first. I read on a blog that recommended before starting the program, I should:
*Be within 20 pounds of ideal weight [fail]
*Have been exercising regularly for at least 3 months [fail]
*Be healthy and injury-free [healthy? not so much since I'm 50 pounds overweight. injury-free, yes]
*Be able to do 1 pull-up (for female) [fail...50 extra pounds is hard to pull up, dammit]
*Be able to do 3 push-ups (for female) [uh...I can do 15 of these]
*1 minute hold on a bodyweight wall squat [win]
*10 dumbell bicep curls at 8 lbs (for female) [win]
I believe I am relatively strong, for someone who doesn't workout. But my stamina is not so hot, and I still do have a lot of body weight to deal, which is a little harder for exercises like pull-ups. So with all this, I've got mixed feelings on whether or not I can start this anytime soon. I just wanted some people's opinions on when you think is a good time for me to begin this intense, rigorous program? And when I do start, I'll definitely post pictures of my 30-60-90 day progress. Finally get a female picture in here. Thanks!
Edit: Nevermind, I decided to just try the P90 and hope that'll get me in shape for the P90X. But when I get there, I'll definitely come back!
