Any of you have kids and still do P90X? If so, when and where do you do your workout? And what do you do with the child if you do your workout when you're home alone with the kid(s)?

These questions are mainly for my wife, I'm trying to get her started on P90X when I do, but she asks these things and I don't have a clue.

I have 2 kids and I do my workouts mainly early AM before they wake up. My daughter likes to do the 2nd half of yoga with me in the afternoon after school and when i do Abs, they like to join in as well. They aer 9 and 4. Of course, they also like to sit on my back during push ups when they are around.

My wife has a knee injury, but she will do yoga and stretch when she can.

If you want it!!! You make the time!!

i have a 2 and half year old and I do my workouts after work arounf 5:30 at night. I get up @ 0415 and drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to work, work for 9 hours and then drive back. i don't get home until around 5:30 and I just start right away so I am not eating dinner @ 9 PM. My daughter will watch cartoons or run around like she is working out also. She love to do pull ups with me so when I finish I lift her up so she can try. The thing that is the hardest is when i have to cook dinner, about 4 days a week, I just get home and put the chicken, turkey, ect. in the oven and start my workout, using the breaks to double check the food. You can do it but you might have to take a little longer breaks and remember that yuo can use this to teach you children a healthy lifestyle and spend time with them doing physical activies. Hope this helps.

I have 2 kids and can only do my workouts when they go to bed. I need to start doing this early in the morning because I believe that is the best time.

I have four girls and of course my wife, so I find time when I get it. Two in school(12/8), one in Pre K(3) three days a week and a 14 month old. I mostly work out at night after everyone is ready for bed. On my workdays, I wait till nap time and go work out then, on a good day she is down for at least 2 hours. If this is something you really want, you will find time. The workouts are only an hour including the warm up/cool down, except for Yoga 1:30.
