I'm not getting it.

I've told a few about the program, including my GF. They all think it's weird/creepy/I shouldn't do it/it's not going to make me happy.

What do I do ? I want to do the program for me, I'd much prefer to have their support though as it'd be a lot more fun for me if I had people to share my progress with.

I dunno, maybe when they see my excitement for it (although I'm excited already and it's not helping) and how good it makes me feel they'll come around ?

They think I'm addicted or something to fitness, which I sorta am, but why is it a bad thing ? Makes me healthy, makes me feel good, gives me more confidence, it's a good thing, right ?

I would say don't worry about what other people think, but it's only human nature to care what people think. So... don't care too much about what other people think. When you start looking good they will definitely change their minds.

What is so weird and creepy about P90X? I do think guys who spend all day at the gym, make all of their meals in a blender, and have nothing to talk about all day except nutrition and working out ARE rather weird and creepy. They remind me of the douchebag workout friend in Night at the Roxbury. Don't be Douchebag Workout Guy.

Ignore their comments. Wait until like 2 months in when you're shredded, THEN ask them for their comments.

They'll be amazed and you'll feel like a million bucks.

Look to us for support if your "friends" don't want to give it. You know we will. It seems this has been a recent problem with people and I have no idea why. Everyone I know always says "You already look fine" or something similar. The rest are like "wow that's cool good luck with it".

Maybe it's my personality but who knows? Just do what you feel is best for you. As long as you aren't hurting anyone, including yourself and you feel better then you are doing the right thing. This forum will be here to support you so good luck in your decision.
