ok- just started, day 3 tomorrow, and I have a couple of questions:

1. I workout in the morning, is it better to eat breakfast before or after the workout?

2. I did the calcs for the amount of calories needed based on my current weight- but the amounts seem way too high, so I'm doing portions for Level I instead of II... anyone have any opinion on this?

3. I didn't see onions on the vegetable list- are they allowed or not?

thanks in advance & cheers!

1. I usually eat a little something before working out to assure that I can power through to the end. Others don't. Do whatever works best for you.

2. Sometimes you have to eat more to lose more. Seems counterintuitive but it's true. If you're eating @ Level 1 and feel like you're struggling and/or not seeing the results you want, consider bumping it up to Level 2.

3. Yeah, onions are allowed.

I made the mistake on day 1 of not eating enough before working out. Now, if I work out in the morning (I only do it if I have something planned that evening), I make sure to eat a joghurt with a spoonful of granola and a piece of fruit 30 mins. before training. I don't know if that's recommended or not, but it's worked pretty well for me so far.
