I'm in my 3rd week and feel like I'm making alot of progress in all phases but I'm really feeling carb deprived at this point and have had to eat more than the recommended amount of carbs the last few days. Has anyone else experienced this feeling in week 3 and how did you deal with it? I am 6'3" and weighed 205 when I started just to give you an idea of my body type.
I setup a profile here to interact with others going throught the P-90x experience. I think it is important to have the support and motivation of others going through something as tough as this is.

What kind of feelings are you having that make you think it's carbs you need and what type of carbs did you decide to take to curb your cravings? Usually for me I have this almost shaky feeling that tells my body I need fuel. I go for some good carbs in berries and my preference there are strawberries. It has some carbs to curb the feelings for me but not a lot to throw you over any allowances you set.

My partner in crime on this site is the big P90x guy while I am more the outdoor sporty type.

What are your carb allowances you are set to?

For the past 8 days I've been eating very little carbs, this is going to sound weird but I feel like I have more energy. Now I have been eating lots of veggies and fruits which of course has natural sugars. I have lost 5 lbs with that and doing the p90x. What have you been eating?

sorry for the late reply. I have been down and out sick since last thursday and found out it was a combination of a sinus infection and I was experiencing hypoglycemia (severe low blood sugar) from not getting enough carbs in my diet. I became extremely shaky and dizzy and also passed out a few times so this is not something to ignore if you have a lean body type. This combined with the sinus infection has made it an awful week but I have learned my lesson. I was doing the phase 1 eating plan religiously for the first 3 weeks and only eating one to 1.5 carbs a day and it eventually took it's toll and my body ran out of fuel and energy. I went to my doctor to get a blood test and make sure everything was okay and she told me to immediately start eating around 40-50% of my diet in non-refined whole wheat carbs as my body was running out of reserve energy and she was very much against these low carb -fat shredding phases. I am pretty lean at 6'3" and 200 pounds so I highly recommend that others doing this program that don't have alot of fat storage for backup energy be very careful as it caught up with me in the 3rd week.

Anyway, I did workouts yesterday and today and will be doing Kenpo Sunday and then I'm starting week 4 next week. It's good to be back and I'm excited to be feeling better and have my sights on day 90.

Good job listening to your body.

I wish i could follow the diet in the Nutrition plan. I do what i can, but it's hard when one doesn't cook to try and impose it on one's spouse.

Anyway welcome back

Wow. That is a bit scary. Glad you got that worked out and even got a doctors advice.

I am also doing low carbs, but I am keeping it under 30 or so per 24 hours. I am also 6'3" but weigh 224. I have lost 6 pounds in 5 days. I started Tuesday, March 2nd.
