B! Be encouraged my friend, and keep pressing play. It will get easier.

I will admit, that in my first 30 days of P90X, everytime I've started(3), including this go-round, the weight loss was minimal. This time was the best result which was about 3 lb.s. But each of those times I've always felt stronger and had more endurance at the end of the first 30 days. Now I'm just finishing week 7 and my weight loss to date is 12.5 lb.s total! I've lost just over 9 lb.s in the last 3 weeks; two of those weeks were 4 lb losses each! I told my wife that I feel like I just broke through some barrier and now my body is shedding the pounds. I'm happy that I have dropped a couple of pant sizes and my clothes fit better as well.

The difference? More Ab Ripper X is part of the equation. I haven't had a week where I did all 3 times, but I make an effort to do what I call Ab Ripper 100 (100 moves/reps) if I can't complete the workout. At best I'm doing ABRX 2.5 times a week.

The next difference-- I've added a night workout here and there. My wife is not a morning person which is when I primarily workout. She works out when she gets home from work and I have joined her a couple times a week here and there. She does the Wednesday Shoulders&Arms workout with me. I try to knock it out as soon as she gets home so we don't end up eating dinner really late. Most evenings she works out after dinner, and I've jumped on the exercise bike from time to time while she does.

Last difference-- NUTRITION, NUTRITION, NUTRITION! Making better food choices; setting and maintaining goals for calorie and fat intake; and working really hard at not eating after 7pm or 8pm. That is the toughest because of work and scheduling, but I do my best not to lay for bed for at least a couple of hours after the last meal of the day.

So here's the good part(besides the weight-loss of course), I still have dessert twice a day! After lunch and after dinner I treat myself to my chocolate fix which lately is a Snickers w/Almonds. 210 calories and 10grams of fat. So it doesn't have to be all tough, right B?

I wanna let you it on something I've been doing from Day 1 and before. I'm a very Spiritual person; I give all the Glory to God and I apologize if this offends you: I PRAY BEFORE & AFTER EVERY WORKOUT! Before the workout, I ask God to give me the strength and energy to complete the workout, do it to the best of my ability, bless me to get all I can get out of it, and most of all protect me from injury. Sometimes I pray for low or no pain as well

The result? God delivers and sees me through! And when all is done, I drop back to my knees and thank Him for a great workout and being injury free to workout another day!

Press into your Higher Power and continue to press play!
