Hi everyone,
So I finally took the plunge and bought P90X. I have decided to start with the Lean version of P90X. Is anyone else on the Lean program? I officially start the program tomorrow. I am excited and scared at the same time lol. I was watching the dvd I will be doing tomorrow which is Core Synergistics and it looks crazy intense. I did do the Ab Ripper video today and OMG it was intense, but I managed to push through it. I decided to join the forum to help keep me committed to the program and also to meet other people and discuss success stories with others on the program. Wish me luck |

Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life! Haha..I'm glad someone's doing the Lean version. I was contemplating whether or not to do that version of the classic, but I decided to go with the Classic after seeing people able to lose a large amount of weight and still build muscle. Please stay active though, as I would like to see results from day 1 to 90 on the lean version. I plan on doing the lean version after I finish the class to minimize my body fat as much as possible. Good luck with your journey, we're all rootin for ya!

Welcome aboard the crazy train.
What are the major differences in the Lean version v/s the Classic? |

I believe its more cardio oriented and less resistance training. Not 100% sure though.

you got it Marcus
in the lean program you'll do 2 days of resistance i.e. Shoulders and Arms + Ab Ripper / Legs and Back + Ab Ripper 3 days of Cardio i.e. Core Syn, Cardio X, Kenpo 1 day for Yoga |
