Day 49... Kenpo day but I did super cardio(Tony Horton One On One) instead just for something different. Also rode my bicycle 12 miles but more of a fun ride than exercise style. Good day though
Day 50... Recovery week. Supposed to be Yoga yesterday but I had am in the middle of remodeling my daughters bedroom and we needed to finish(did not get done but close) so I decided to miss a day this week to have some extra work time. I hate doing that but life happens I may try to make it up later in the week but for today I am going on with normal schedule which will be core synergistics. |

Just read your thread for the first time. Good stuff, man. I am also 35, though I am only on my second round of P90X (have also done half a round of Insanity in between). I am into Phase 3 now, so likely will be starting up my own Round 3 thread in another month.
Keep up the great work and keep posting. You feeling any mental burnout from doing it 3 times now? Rick |

Rick Thanks Rick there have been a few times that I have been burned out a little but I have stayed pretty motivated. The part that has been the hardest to keep up on is eating. I have not seen the ultimate result I want(truly ripped abs) because I cannot be strict with my nutrition. In my first round it was easy but I saw gains every week. Now I do not see gains often and so it is hard to keep eating right. I have not lost any weight since the middle of my second round.(dont really need to lose much but I still have a little fat covering my lower abs). That part has been elusive and I know it is simply getting on track and strict with nutrition that will help me get there. I do like to mix up workouts now I have a lot of the one on one workouts and the plus series so that keeps things from getting old. I also have my wife working out with me and son who has started working out with me that helps A lot. At the end of this round I plan on taking a short break and then following schedule up until Christmas when I will be going snow skiing. After that I will do a maintenance type program(4-5 workouts a week) until I do another round to be ready for the lake next summer. Honestly I love the workouts and I hope to always continue doing some kind of workout like this but I think I will always struggle with eating right even after I quit tracking everything because I love to eat. Good luck in your journey Rick Do you have a log? I like seeing how others that are similar to my age etc have done it really helps motivate me its fun knowing your not the only one out there working hard. |

Great info, it's good to know I am not the only one struggling with it mentally. Good tips on using one-on-one and p90x+ vids to change things up a bit. I will definitely look into that. Any suggestions on specific ones to look out for?
As for my log, I am guilty of not maintaining it very often. I post maybe once a week and sometimes miss an entire week. I should go post something! Rick |
