You are really kicking some butt. Adding resistance to ARX is a great way to get better results. Getting the family involved is a great idea as well. My son thinks that downward dog is a great tunnel to climb through. I can't seem to get the wife involved yet but my daughter will jump in from time to time she likes parts of Yoga and SUPERGIRL/ Banana. The diet would be by far the most difficult to implement into their lives. My wife and daughter are way too picky I still try though.

Spread your knowledge to everyone you can. There is alot of Goo in this world.

Keep it up man you are doing a great job, both for yourself as well as for your family and friends.

Thanks Ken for the encouragement...

Day - 49

Took a rest day here...I wish I would have done the X stretch but didn't find the time. Was very busy and I had a few cheats with some desserts and lots of bread. It felt good at the time and I felt I deserved to cheat because I have been eating very clean. But afterwards I felt very gross and didn't have a very good sleep. Lesson learned is that it not worth the crap food to feel like crap. Eating healthy and feeling healthy tastes better.

Phase 2 Recovery Week
Day - 50 Yoga

Not a very good sleep the night before and heartburn made for a crappy session...got thru it but without any intensity. I cut my carbs way down today and I felt much better.

Day - 51 Core Synergistics

I love,love,love this workout. Non stop action. I felt great after and I was pouring sweat. I was looking forward to this recovery week just so I could do Core Syn. again.

Day 55 - Yoga X

Finished off the Phase 2 Recovery Week very strong with Yoga. Best Yoga session. Held Crane for about 30 Seconds which really hurt.

Ready to move into Phase 3 being fully committed to bring it everyday.

Day 57 - Chest & Back

Felt good to do this workout again...I missed it, some good old fashion butt kicking moves. Increased everything from my last Phase 1 Chest & Back workout but didn't feel like I had as much energy as last week.

ARX - felt like I was just going thru the motions. Not as intense as usual but we all have off days. Just need to kick butt next time!!!

Day 59 - Shoulders & Arms

Well if my day 57 workout was an `OFF' day then today was definitely an `ON' day. Wow what a feeling I had this morning. Ripped out every rep to the max and increased everything again. 25 Lying Down Tricep extensions was a crazy way to finish off a great session.

ARX - best Ab Ripper X ever, increased reps on the first 3 moves to 30(thanks Ken-Rippin5150). Felt the burn deep in the abs and finished off with 60 M.Twists with a 10 pounder again...felt awesome.

I think I felt awful on my day 57 Chest & Back workout because I let my diet slip a little this past weekend. Not really eating bad foods just eating way too much of it. Felt loaded down and lazy. Diet has been clean since and I feel like a million bucks again...lesson learned again.

With Xmas coming there is always more temptations with parties, family get togethers and just good ole baking. I need to focus and stay committed thru the Holiday season and to not overdo it. I will still enjoy the odd indulgence here and there but I will not go crazy.

Remember being fit and healthy tastes better.

Day 60 - Yoga X

Only had time for the first half and tried to it later in the evening but that didn't happen but for what I did do it felt great. I didn't have to use my push-up stand as a yoga block. I was able to touch the floor and extend the arm straight up...a big improvement in flexibility for me.

Took my Day 60 photos and will post in a couple of days.

Day 61 - Legs & Back

Woke up this morning with a bit of a sore throat and felt tired also.
Only got 65 unassisted pull-ups this week. Legs felt ok but not the best. I just hope this sickness doesn't stick around to long.

ARX - felt awesome pretty much the same as last ARX

Day 62 - Kenpo X

Had a company Xmas party the night before and of course ate way too much but I felt the extra calories gave me a lot of energy for my Kenpo workout. I was able to stay in the zone for the whole workout and was sweating like a pig...great workout.

Day 63 - Rest

Day 64 - CST

Great workout, increased all the reps and some of the weights. I love all the different variations of push-ups on this one.

ARX - felt the burn on this one deep in the abs. Did every rep to perfection and again did 65 weighted M.Twists.

Day 65 - Cardio X

Did the Cardio X today instead of Plyo just to save the knees...but this is still a tough one. Not as intense as Plyo but I still worked up a sweat and I love those Wacky Jacks.

Day 66 - Back & Biceps

Increased all pull-ups and felt great.

ARX - Good deep burn and weighted M.twists

Day 67 - Yoga X

Full session completed

Day 68 - Sick Rest Day

My cold finally caight up to me...I slept in today

Day 69 - Legs & Back

Made up my rest today with an OK session. Still felt a bit sick but was able to increase my unassisted pull-ups to 74 from 70. Legs were a bit weak though.

ARX - Fully completed with some extra reps and 60 weighted M.Twists

Day 70 - Kenpo X

Good sweat today but still weak

Day 71 - Chest & Back

Last C&B for my first round of P90X and I pushed it to the max. Increased every rep and kept up with the kids on the video.

ARX - every rep with some extra and 65 weighted M.twists at the end

Day 72 - Cardio X

Done...a little short but feels good on the knee.
Hopefully I will be able to do Plyo in Round 2.

Day 73 - Shoulders & Arms

Great workout and increased all reps again...I am going to get some more dumbells so I can decrease the reps and up the weight.

ARX - starting to master this and I really look forward to doing it.

Day 74 - Christmas Rest Day

Had a great day, ate lots of great food and desserts

Day 75 - Legs & Back

Eventhough I gained about 5 pounds from eating so much the day before it gave me great energy to rip out 105 Unassisted pull-ups. Up from 74 last week...my goal was to make it to 100, but I didn't think I would do it that qiuck. Legs felt great also.

ARX - 70 weighted M.Twists...ouch

Day 76 - Kenpo Cardio Plus

I finally tried one of the P90X+ workouts the Kenpo Cardio X Plus. A little shorter in lenght then just Kenpo X but with this one the legs are always moving instaed of just standing there throwing punches. A really great short intense workout.

Day 77 - Yoga X

Made up for missing Yoga on Xmas day here. Good session...no yoga block needed.

Day 78 - Chest, Shoulders & Triceps

Another great workout as I move into my last week of resistance work for my first round of P90X. Increased all push-ups and upped the reps and some weight for the arms. Great pump afterwards.

ARX - Great one again increased some reps and push hard all the way thru.

Day 79 - Interval X Plus

Thought I would give this one a try instead because it does have less jumping then Plyo...but what a workout. They say that Plyo is the Mother of all workouts. I guess you could call this one the Evil Step-Mother...it is a killer. When I did Plyo my heartrate never made it past 165. With this Interval X Plus I was hitting 185 and I have never sweat so much doing a P90X workout. I highly recommend this one for an extra cardio workout to supplement Plyo & Cardio X and its only 40 minutes for an intense and fun workout.

I see you got the plus series. From what I have read it is more like Core. Multiple moves tha make up one move. Did you pick that up from B.Body? Or were you able to find it second hand. I like the fact that it is 45 min. Are they all shorter? I have been skipping past some of the breaks to try and shorten my time. That is also why I enjoy Cardio X. Goodburn in a shorter time.

Keep it up man. 11 days to go. Day 90 is going to feel so good!!!

I am going to try harder to keep my potty mouth in check!

So what's your New Years resolution now? We seem to have gotten a head start on the weight loss. It looks like Plus is in your future. I am going to have to find a way to keep up with you.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

Day 80 - Back & Biceps and Interval X Plus

Workout this morning was great as I increased all pull-ups and increased the weight on most bicep work.

ARX - great again...I love it.

Interval X Plus - I loved this workout so much and I had some freetime this afternoon so I thought let's do this. Good workout again...I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a super intense fun workout in place of Plyo and Cardio X.

Hi Ken - Happy New Year

I did get the plus series and I found it new on ebay. I have only done the Kenpo Cardio Plus and Interval X plus and both are under 45min. and they are great workouts. Haven't had a chance to look at the other DVD's but I think I will move them in, in my second round.

New Years Resolution??? Good question...maybe spend more time with family and continue living a healthy lifestyle the P90X way.

Day 81 - Yoga X

Most intense Yoga session for me so far...was really sweating after the first 45min. Then held crane for almost the full 60 seconds.

Day 82 - Legs & Back

Last Legs & Back workout of my first round and I really tried to bring it for this one. I ripped out 126 Unassisted Pull-Ups over 105 last week and I am now at the point that I do not need a chair in front of me any assisted pull-ups. Feels great to reach this amount as I only did 20 unassisted the first Legs & Back workout. It just goes to show that if you stick with it and keep pushing play you will see and feel results. Legs felt great also and really pushed them hard and deep.

ARX - last Ab Ripper X of first round and really cranked it out hard and deep. Finished with 80 10 pound weighted M.Twists...

Day 83 - Kenpo X

OK workout...kind of bored with this one now. I think for now on I will do the Kenpo Cardio X Plus.

Hey ZuggTastic - Good to hear from you man...you still going strong also?

P90X Graduation Day is Saturday Jan 10 as all have left is this weeks Recovery. Yes I am moving into a second round on Monday Jan 12.

I am either going to do a P90X Plus routine or a P90X Mass-Building Routine.

P90X Mass-Building:
Mon. - Chest & Back --> ARX
Tue. - Shoulders & Arms
Wed. - Leg's & Back --> ARX
Thu. - Chest, Shoulders & Triceps
Fri. - Yoga X
Sat. - Back & Biceps --> ARX
Sun. - Rest or Stretch

Do this for three weeks and then do a Recovery Week. I might throw in some Interval X Plus and Kenpo Cardio Plus here and there... but I will eat more carbs to feed the muscles so I expect some weight gain. I'll see how my body feels after this recovery week and make a decsion.

What do you guys think?

Yeah still at it, was kinda difficult when it came to the holidays, but somehow I managed..

Gonna do Round 2 Jan 12th myself too, also changed it to morning hours, will give me more time in the afternoon to do other things, even some recreational things.. Will also focus on nutrition a lot more, and then Round 3 I think I will do P90X + , that should be over the summer so I should be good for that..

That Mass building seems unusual, do you think you might get too over worked with the workouts being so close to each other? Maybe a bit too much muscle exertion?

Glad to hear your doing a second round also...the holidays were tough. I always workout first thing in the morning and I find that it's easier. You get it done and you have those goood feelings first thing in the morning. It also kickstarts the metabolism.

In regards of the Mass-Building Routine the rule of giving each body part or muscle 48 hours to recovery will be covered. It may be too much but I'll have to try it to see. Just got to make sure to eat more and get proper amount of sleep.

Day 84 - Rest

Round One Phase 3 Recovery Week

Day 85 - Yoga X

Getting more and more flexible everytime I do this one...

Day 86 - Core Syn.

It's back and I love this one...for you guys who haven't hit the first week of recovery, this workout is worth the pain and sacrifice of the first phase of P90X Classic. Stick with the program and you will be rewarded with this glorius upper body killer.(other people may have a different opionion)

Day 87 - Rest sore Knee

Left knee injury from first week Plyo is still lingering and I tweaked it a little in the Core Syn warm-up the day before ...so instead of pushing it took a rest here and will do Interval tomorrow instead of stretch.

Day 88 - Interval Plus X

Instead of Kenpo I did the Intervals as I feel it is a much more intense workout then Kenpo...and it's about 20 min. shorter.

Two days left till graduation...

Day 89 - Core Synergistics

Did 20 Jail Cell Push-ups and pushed hard for every rep. The chutarunga run hurt the knee a little but felt good in plank. Overall a great fun workout.

Day 90 - Yoga and fit test

Started doing Yoga but it really started to hurt my shoulders so only did about 10min. I was going to do the fit test later but I thought that this was a good warmup for the fit test so I did it.

Here are my results Day 1 --> Day 90

Pull-ups(wide): 3 --> 21
Push-ups: 36 --> 66
Wall-Squat: 1:40 --> 4:04
Curls(25LBS): 22 --> 32
In/outs: 75 --> 153

Overall I am very happy with my first round results. Diet really suffered around and after Xmas. I didn't get as lean as I had hoped but that is my own fault.

My next round will be more of a mass building routine and then some P90X Plus.

On to next round...

Well done Sir, impressive numbers to say the least... You definitely look leaner in the 90 picture than the Day 1 picture. But enough talk, get onto Round 2, summer is just around the corner

Thanks Zugg for your comments...I definetly feel leaner.

I started P90X at 184 and finished on day 90 at 175. The lowest I got was around day 60 at 172. BF% started around 21% and finished around 16%.
Ultimate goal is to get to 10%.

Another big milestone for me was to get 126 pull-ups on my last Legs & Back workout(did 20 the first week). I had hoped for 100 and was surprised to get as many as I did.

On to Round Two and yes Summer is right around the corner...can't wait to hit the beach and to not have to shovel anymore snow(good workout though)
