Holy triceps Batman! Day 1 of phase 2 was awesome! I personally love tricep workouts and Chest Shoulders Triceps definately gives your triceps a great workout.

The 1 arm pushups are really tough. I could only do a couple before failure.

By the end of the workout I could not believe how fatigued and swollen my arms were. I think this is moving into my #1 favorite workout although it is very tough I loved it.

The diet is still going well. Seems as though I have stayed at the same weight for about a week and I am not noticing any improvement in the gut area. My wife keeps telling me to be patient. I am going to try and post pictures and measurements soon.

Hope everyone else is doing well! Keep bringin it!

love the burn in the triceps but not so pleasant during downward and upward dogs

Day 2 of phase 2 -- Plyo

This workout is a butt kicker. I noticed though that my heart rate didn't get as high as it has in the past. That should be a good sign right? My legs are still a little sore.

Day 3 of phase 2 -- Back & Bicep

I liked this workout. I think I need to get one more set of dumbells though. My arms are definitely feeling it this morning.
Another thing is, I think all of my supporting muscles are getting into shape allowing me to really target the intended muscle groups now. It is a great feeling. I am even improving on Ab Ripper

Week 6

Chest shoulders triceps:

Still love this excersize. I am starting to really feel a difference in my chest. I think I am starting to see some changes in my shoulders as well.

Plyo: This still kicks my butt but I am getting better at keeping up with the people on the DVD. Jump knee tucks, I can keep up with them now. First month I couldn't do the last half when they do double time. This is very encouraging.

Back & Biceps:

This is a great arm workout too! My back is fairly weak so I have a difficult time with some of the back excersizes. But that is what I am doing this for right?

Bottom line is I am still bringing it every day and am noticing little changes every week. It just keeps getting better and better the longer I continue. I have come to the realization that this is not something you do for 90 days and then go back to your normal routine. I see myself doing another round and then something similar for the rest of my life.

Sounds like you're really doing well and keeping motivated! I totally agree with you on that "this isn't something you just do for 90 days" thing. I'm just about to start week 4 and I already plan on doing another routine after I'm done with my 90 days. After P90X I think I'll do the iwantsixpackabs.com routine (16 weeks - I already started it once and made it half way but stopped due to getting sick, but this time I'll crank out the whole thing). Just to change things up a little. Then I'll probably come back and do another round of P90X or try the P90X+ routine. Anyway, by then there might be a lot of new stuff out there too! Cheers and keep up the great work!

I hear what you say about the 90 days routine thingy, on Monday I'll start Phase 3 or Round 2. just like the round 1 I started the "end of program analysis" i.e. what do i do next?
I'll probably do P90X Plus, I'm a bit reluctant because I've seen the videos and I'm not impressed and Tony is extremely anoying and since I convert my dvds to Ipod I don't have the option to mute him.
