Day 57
Lesson Learn: heed Tony's advise,
day 1 of Phase 3 Chest and back / Ab Ripper. I did the Ab Ripper with the usual struggles but got though it.
then came time for some pushing and pulling. I went in full force no holding back in spite of T0ny's advice to pace myself as round 2 was coming and I'd have to stick with it.
by the end of round 1 I was dizzy, sat down for a little bit and got back on the crazy horse.
round 2 got a little screwed up because people started showing up and messing up my routine as I couldn't get to the pull up bar so i'd do what other exercises and then get to it when i could.
then i got on the treadmill for another 45min to keep my wife company.

YEAH y'all should know by now Day 2 is my favorite as day 4 four is "that" day we don't talk about.
Plyo day, yes indeed. I'm about to have me a blast at the gym.

Day 59 (Wet day)
Boy am I in for an eye opener.
I thought going back to the first exercises will be a breeze since i'm much stronger than Day 1 and i know the exercises....No. I'm pushing and pulling more weights, doing more pull ups and push ups. but it's still Xtreme.
I did Shoulders and Arms today. I increased most my weight from last workout by 5 pounds and i add to decrease some.
that made me feel good, but that the extend of my good news. everything else is just pain.
I got to the gym this morning to find a puddle of water in my gym bag so my worksheet (photocopy), gloves, sneakers, and others stuff were wet. so it took me a minute to clean that up. that incident messed up my timing.
My Ipod wasn't plugged in so i had 1/2 battery life to work with, Itunes wouldn't recognize my wife's Ipod for me to upload today's workout on hers, and I still don't have a band to carry my Zune to the gym.(thankfully i can Ab Ripper without Tony these days),
but I made it and Day 59 (Day 3 of Week 9)is in the bag
I'm actually looking forward to Yoga tomorrow.

The Big 60
Day 60 Yoga Day!
Another Yoga workout gone array!
As I mentioned yesterday I was looking forward to Yoga. But there is seem to be a recurrent theme, every time it's Yoga Day something happens, so today was no exception.
I woke up, and somehow my Ipod wasn't charged, I mean It was dead. I was running late so I couldn't upload it to my wife's and I really need to get a band for my Zune.
Any rate I decided to do Yoga at home as I was running late. I did Yoga for about 30 min then ran for almost a mile, burned 389 cal.
I really needs to have a clear mind during Yoga, because I end up stopping short every time I tried to do Yoga with these nuisances on my mind.

Day 61 -62
my week is a little crazy, too much happening at once.
I stayed up all night putting together my new office desk on Tuesday. so Wednesday i didn't make it to the gym thus my rest day. with the intentions of moving everything forward.
so i did Legs and back on Thursday. and again it was tougher than i expected. although I must say I'm becoming a beast with the regular pull ups, If I wasn't in such awe of my performance I could have done 30 +, I just shocked when i heard myself say 25 and I dropped the ball. I think if I had access to a better pull up bar I'd do better with the other pull ups variation, the one I have at home is lodged between in door frame, so it's neither tall nor wide enough. the one at the gym is is not all that great. I have all kind of trouble gripping hence my calluses, it's not tall enough so, for something like a switchgrip
This morning, my alarm didn't go off so I packed my gym bag and will go to the gym after work and do some Kenpo karate while the big boys are playing with the plates.

Day 63 Kenpo
I went to the gym after work to do my kenpo, of course the big boys were there lifting like crazy, I believe the humans strength is truly unknown because I see these kids and I'm amazed.
after my workout I hit the treadmill for about 1 mile. I ended up burning 1000 calories
Day 64 Week 10
Chest Shoulders and Triceps.
I ended up cutting this workout short, with about 20 minutes to go, this turned up to be a good thing because we had to take this road trip, if I had stayed for the whole duration of the workout we would have been late.
At least I went all out (as usual) for the time I was at the gym.
Day 65
favorite Day : Plyo
I aggravated my bum ankle while jumping over the river.
I think subconsciously I felt a need to make up for yesterday short workout. I went buck wild from beginning until i hurt myself, but I didn't stop I did the modified version when i needed to use that ankle for support.
after Plyo I got on the treadmill to keep my wife company and do some power walk, I could've ran but i decided to give my ankle a rest.
ended burning 1050 calories.

Day 66 Week 10 day 3
Back and Biceps
I woke up a bit late for my standard and I've decided to start doing Ab Ripper at home before hitting the gym because it opens at 5:30 and that's late for me.
in any rate I did Abs at home by the time i got to the gym it was six so I decided to run a couple miles, and come back after work to do my workout.
It was great I didn't have to worry about watching the clock. I was pleased with my performance. I even got on the elliptical for 10 min after my workout. burn 789 calories and I'm feeling great

YOGA
yes my not so favorite day, I'm glad to report that all went well, at least the part that I did , which is about 40 min.
My Ipod was charged no spilled water in my gym bag, I wasn't running too late.
I started something one Yoga day that I decided to finish. That is to do Yoga with my eyes close. boy it's tough.
One think I realized is that I have no balance with my eyes close. I was shaking at every move. One move I had to open my eyes to complete was where you put your fingers to the sky while standing on your tip/tippy toes. I just couldn't do it, until I open my eyes.

Legs and Backs
Ab Ripper X was not so bad today I started in ahead of them and stayed ahead until we got to oblique V up on the left side and I crashed.

I had to do Kenpo from some Hotel "Fitness Center" am I the only or has anyone else noticed how the concierge catches an attitude when you refer to their gym as a gym. IT's a freaking gym.
anyway I did my Kenpo which i was very much doubting but after I checked in my hotel last night I checked out the GYM and was relieved to see that the place was big enough for me to be kicking without knocking out anybody.
Now that back home I'll be at my home gym wearing home white

boy did I sweat it out.
I did an hour on the elliptical

Hey Les,
I can't beleive that you have gotten this far into the program wihtout us noticing that you haven't posted any pic's. Don't think for one minute that were gonna let you get away with that. It's time for some Day 1, Day 30, Day 60 photos my friend, and there is no time like the present.
You want a certificate, we want some pic's. We have newbies on here that have already posted pic's so no excuses.

Day 71
Week 11 didn't go to well.
I was totally unmotivated, I had the weight room to myself yet could not
I think I waited too long to go to the gym, at which point I became hungry which made me dizzy, so I had to modify my workout.
I did my Ab Ripper and one half of Chest & Back.

Sounds good my friend, but sometimes we are our own worst critics !!!
And as far as today goes, your worked out correct? You did some sort of exercise even when you weren't feeling like doing it. That is the biggest change people need. I'm proud of you for hanging in with what you got done, and knowing how you love tomorrow, I think you will make up for your intensity today.

Week 11 Day 2
Thanks Addict, I had to dig down to complete my sets yesterday. especially with the bikes roaring out there, I wanted to ride before the rain also, indeed my mind wasn't right.
After yesterday Fiasco, I had to redeem myself. what better day to do so....
Happiness is Plyometrics Day ( yes I said it, while sweating bucket)
Double time, was my modus operandi. And yes I loved it. I had some energy left but I had to go take care of my tire. I was hoping to get patch given that it's no where near replacement stage, but that was a waste because I'd have to get a new tire altogether as I have a screw going thru the sidewall.
