I had a day long seminar yesterday, after which i had to do some real work so i didn't post but I wanted to point out that i did Ab ripper X before doing Legs and that's my new routine I don't if it's the fact that I get stronger as I progress through or if doing Ab workout before an hour of intense workout but it work I did most of my workout including a good form on the oblique.
Today I went to the Gym and it wasn't open I sat there for 15 min, and I had to accept the fact that I had to leave and would have to workout after work, which i did. I did my kenpo burnt 800 calories tried to keep my HR ~160 and all was well.
Tomorrow I'm thinking of doing Yoga instead of stretching I might even start from the 2nd part, or I could just rest. well is it really resting when I have to take the stairs all day at work, it's only the 6th floor but in the morning i have my 20+ lbs bag and the rest of the day it's up and down, chasing resources and meetings

I know what you mean, I have done the same thing in the garage, and still feel self conscious about it, thinking my neighbors are gonna think I'm doing wierd things in my garage, but heh, I figure that the grunts help me get through the rep, so at this point, I could care less what people think.
The meetings and closed gym would have been my excuse not to workout a year ago, so I'm glad you are keeping yourself honest becuase those excuses are pretty easy to justify in our own minds. Keep up the motivation, because it only gets better from here. If your working out in the morning, I would be careful on the stairs after leg and back day!

I can't tell you the number of times my wife has yelled down at me to see if I was ok. I don't even realize I'm doing it.

DAY FITTY FO down and gone. Kenpo hit hard today, and even felt good enough to throw some abs in too...Did I just say that? usually the gas is gone from the engine after that workout.
Six more days till Picture day, maybe that was my motivation..I'm seeing the waist shrink but the abs are still hidden
Looking forward to seeing some more carbs and less protiens next week, new meals etc...
First couple of weeks, I could hear my wife laughing (to herself) when she heard me crashing from yoga positions. Now who's laughing baby !

I'm entering the last week of phase 2 i.e. week 7 or Day 43.
I'm getting ready to hit the gym, and I reckon it would be a nice workout, given that i'm rested and all.
I'm leaving for Florida for work on Monday the resort where I'm staying advertises a nice gym but there are no pictures, so I'll bring my bands If I have to do workout in my room

Day 43 the last Chest Shoulders and Triceps of Phase 2 is in the bag.
I almost forget to do my Ab ripper X before the resistance workout.the Gym was packed when i got there, I knew that was going to be the case so I was prepared, i did my warm up and stretches, I think i got caught up in everybody pumping iron and making faces, that I just jumped on my push up bars, somehow chair dip reminded me of yoga, because my tris were burning after 10 that i had to take a break after 20 and finish up( it's hard for me to do the yoga moves that require that i hold myself up on my arms because of my triceps workout.)
anyway, that whole sequence reminded me of doing my Abs before i get too tired.
As usual I kicked some A** on the first 4 moves then got my A** kicked for the rest of the video, and me and Ab ripper X parted ways amicably til Monday.
the rest of the workout was hard, because I went in today with the attitude/confidence that this being my 3rd week i should be able to hold my own. but I was quickly brought back to earth.
grunting for an hour and a half.
P90X
can't wait til tomorrow for some plyo.

Day fifty five- almost half in the bag, did Sore Core this morning, and decided to get my butt kicked by Yoga one more time tonight to end week 8 on a triumphant note ) I love these cardio break weeks, they just re-energize me !
Monday I get back to the nitty gritty with some real burns. the next four weeks should be interesting, getting to break up the routines every other week now! AND I get to see some of my wonderful carb friends again, what's good about them is that they don't like to stick around anymore, they just stop in to say hi and then head out the door.

Those are the BEST friends, ones who stop in to say hi, but don't ask to borrow anything, Don't mind if you use them for just about anything and don't expect anything in return, and leave when they're asked....can't ask for much more than that.

Did I say Plyometrics was my favorite, I thought i should reiterate. week 3 is in full effect however I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow until Thursday and I don't know how that will affect my momentum, but I'm bringing my bands so we'll see how that goes.
My plyo workout was great, the weight room was empty until literally the last second. I did all my moves as precisely as possible, i didn't take too many breaks, I cover a lot of ground, squatted with my butt to my heels, jumping knee tuck on double time mode, Heisman's pose with knees to the chest, I felt good.
and at the end I wasn't drained, in the past I'd lay on the floor for cool down time, because I was too drained to stay on my feet. today i stop my Ipod, grabbed my bag almost as cool as I came in except for the heavy breathing and the sweat covered body, but I was good on my feet, of course my body is gonna ache tomorrow, but that will be good too.
it was a good day.

Whoolllllyyy Crap ! DAY 57 Week 9 Day 1, Chest and Back/Ab Ripper. Boy did I miss this workout. Saw significant jumps from initial starting reps, went up almost 10 to 20 reps per chest exercise, and Ab ripper, felt that one the whole way. I am so stoked to be doing the new (old) routines. It's like starting all over again, except you feel powerful when you see those gains.
Bring it on Plyo, I hate you... but tomorrow you and I tangle again.

Live from South Florida
I got to the hotel after letting me in the room 2 hours after i arrived and 3 hours before official check in time. I ran to the hotel after confirming that they had free weight otherwise I'd stay in my room and used my bands.
so i performed Day 3 of week 7 (Back and Biceps)at a foreign gym, with a view of folks sunbathing and kids playing in the pool.it was a nice change of environment however their heaviest weights are only 50lbs so I had to make do with them for those back exercises that requires a bit more of weight.
My Ab Ripper X was not as painful so that's always good.

Day 58 in the bag, baby. Week 9, Day 2. Plyo and I tangled to the death, and boy do I hate/love this workout. I certainly missed the sweat that pours from this one and I can tell you that it doesn't get any easier the longer you do it, You feel better...yeah, and you will see big improvements, but it does not get easier.
Looking forward to the old Shoulder/Arms/Abs for tomorrow. Can't wait to see the differences in weights from week three to now.
Certainly enjoyed letting a few more carbs into the diet and reducing all the proteins to my 40/40/20 split.

i have a quick break, i figured i chime in here before you guys start thinking i got lost at the pool.
Yesterday I ran a couple of miles instead of doing yoga, and this morning i decided to read instead of hitting the Gym so it's been 2 days without any words from my personal trainer Tony, but the conference ends today and most people will leave today including my boss so i don't have to worry about the group schedule thing, i'll be solo and head straight to the nice gym for some Abs, legs and back workout.

yesterday was my postponed legs and back workout after opting to take a resting day in the middle of the week, yesterday i made it to the gym feeling OK and it showed. I did the Ab ripper with no problems however when i started my legs and back workout I knew from the first 3 exercises I was in trouble, all my moves were shaky , i struggled to do 25 pull ups. After less than 20mn of workout I bailed.
I knew it was too early for me to be at the gym but my checkout time was 11am and i didn't have a choice.
so i'm finally home with a day off, this afternoon i will go and do kenpo to close out week 3 of Phase 2. and i can start my recovery week tomorrow
