I started on 6/27 and for some reason I keep overlooking this thread.

Hi everyone who's still around and P90x'ing! Personally, I'm getting close to wrapping up week 6 (Day 40 today) and I'm already looking forward to a recovery week because my body feels sort of banged up. I tweaked my right pectoral and lat somehow in week five and even though it's not bad enough to warrant me stopping it is sore enough to be a constant annoyance.

I'm still loving P90x though. Hope you guys are doing well and hanging in there!

I got off track cause of some drama around the house + vacation. I am starting back up with week 5 this coming Monday.

I just did my last Biceps & Back of Phase II today. I really liked that workout, except for the corn cob pullups. It took me ten days, but my muscle strain or whatever it was has cleared up.

Phase II has gone by fast. It's crazy to think I'm almost at the recovery week. GL everyone!

As creator of this thread, it's awesome to see how many of you have kept this up. It's very inspiring.

It's also only fair then to those of you who have withstood the challenges so far, that I confess to failing. I've had these problems throughout my life. I'm so hot & cold, there is no in between. At the beginning of this thread, you could see confidence bursting at the seams. I was dead on with the program until that stupid weekend vacation at the end of week 3. That really knocked the wheels off. I got half the workouts in of the recovery week, did the first two works out Week 5, and then life got in the way. I wasn't even busy, it's just...you know, one workout missed turned into two, turned into 3, and then turned into "i'll restart next week" and then never did, to silently quitting. I really don't know how I can be so inspired and so self-destructive in one being. It's definitely a mental struggle, one that I will continue to try and overcome. I was virtually halfway. Time was flying, there is no reason I can't get back to that point.

I am getting back on my horse tomorrow. I'm starting over from scratch because I owe it to myself to actually commit to something for more than a week. Thank you all for being such an inspiration, and keep pressing play. I'm going to get some rest to prepare for my reboot.

I had a minor setback well a huge setback. I was geared up ready to hit phase II when I had a freak accident. I had stayed in motel room durin our family reunion and slipped and fell head first on the edge of the tub. My jaw took the whole impact. I didn't break it but it felt like it. I couldn't eat or move much for almost 10days. Im recovering well now and started up slowing walking to build my endurance up again. I think I'm ready to start Monday. I will restart phase I as I know what's coming. I was very depressed I couldn't finish this with ya but I'm coming back stronger. I still see people's post on here and keeps me motivated.
