Kimmie's Journal 6 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I just finished day 8 of Lean and I feel like ninjas have given me a beat down! I want fitness and good health so bad, I don't mind if they come back and bring friends!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. After I did my Cardio X workout today (day 9--YEAH), I realized that I have NEVER exercised more than a couple of days in a row before. I still cant' do any more than about 30 minutes of Cardio, but I feel I'm getting stronger and better.

Re:Kimmie's Journal 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I'm starting over today. Two bouts of illness, a severe ankle sprain, plus the fact that my sister-in-law had a gastric bypass and now weighs less than me has me motivated to get moving again. My ankle still isn't totally healed but if i work out gently it will be ok. I have nothing to lose but this 91 pound invisible anorexic girl attached to me!

Injuries and illness suck. Good on you for coming back with an iron will and determination!

Keep up the good work, and keep us posted. Know that you're helping out lots of people (especially me!) by proving you can still see your goals despite the obstacles placed in front of you.

Remember what Randy Pausch said, "brick walls are there for a reason. They're there to show you how badly you want something. They're there to stop everyone ELSE."

Keep up the good fight and keep BRINGING IT!

Gastric bypass - Bah!
That's cheating.
Think how good it's going to feel to do it the old fashioned way.
Be careful with your ankle. P90X and "workout gently" are at odds with one another. If you need more time to heal, take it. The only thing worse than an injury is a re-injury.

I'm back to try it again. My ankle is still really messed up, but I started out with some core synergistics today. I have been swiming twice a week to build up my ankle strength, but I still have some pain and swelling. Oh well, at least I didn't break it. I WILL suceed.

Re:Kimmie's Journal 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
After a long absence, I am proud to say that not only did I restart (for the umpteeth time), but I nearly at the end of week 3!! I am down 12 pounds and although I don't see any muscle under all my layers of fat, I KNOW it's there because I feel stronger. My ankle is even starting to get stronger! I can hardly wait to take my 30 day picture and compare it to my day 1!!

Today I start Phase II (yeah!!! I made it to Phase II!!). I am down 14 pounds and 11.5 inches!! I can hardly wait to see what the next few weeks will bring. I feel stronger, better, faster. Kinda like The Six Million Dollar Man!!! My plan for this week is to bring it even harder than I did in the past four.

Hey Kimmmie! I start phase 2 today, so it appears we are on the same schedule! Maybe we can motivate each other to maintain our schedule and bring it every day! You totally rock! I always get a good feeling when I see people like me getting results like me! Congrats and keep pressing play!

Thanks Austin! It's been quite a challenge for me to stay motivated, but if we can motivate each other to keep pushing play, it's all good!

Re:Kimmie's Journal 2 Weeks, 3 Days ago Karma: 0
Ok, today is Day 45, and I am 1 week and 2 days behind in reporting my progress. In the last week, a mild flu bug and an ear infection wore me down but I kept pushing play. As of Sunday, my weight is 198!!!!! I met my first weight goal of getting out of the 200 lb club!!

I also met my first fitness goal... of being able to do the whole Richard Simmons 20 minute Blast Off without getting tired and having to stop. It's ok to laugh, it just goes to show how truly unhealthy and unfit I was if I couldn't hang with Richard! Not only did I complete the whole video, I didn't get tired or even get close to breaking a sweat! It's official, I've dumped Richard for Tony, LOL!

Re:Kimmie's Journal 5 Days, 16 Hours ago Karma: 0
Today is Day 57. I am down a total of 15 inches!!! This past week was hard due to the never-ending ear infection and 8 lbs of water retention! I'm not going to let this minor set back depress me. I have 75 more pounds to lose and fitness to gain, and I WILL suceed.
