Did Yoga last night and surprised that I really enjoyed it. Last week I just did the first half and stoped because I was so uncomfertable but this week I pushed though and discovered that the last half was the best. I was able to bring my heart rate down and relax more, that is until the ab part started, WOW. I really can't wait to do it again. Will not be able to get to todays workout due to time but will wake up early on Sunday and make-up first thing and then do Kempo in the afternoon. Hope everyone is doing good and noticed some new people on here, welcome. I will review all the new messages later so take care and keep pushing play.

A fellow Yoga lover, isnt that awesome. I find the last half the time to just enjoy the stretches, breathing, and centering myself for the rest of the week. OOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM. Great attitude, keep Bringin It, and you'll achieve your goals here.

Week 2 Day 5 & 6 complete. Went ahead and made up legs and back on Sunday morning and then did Kenpo and abs in the afternoon. really not that movitated to do Kenpo but my wife did it with me so I got though it with some help. My legs were a little tired from the morning but I worked though it. Today is a rest day but like always its a good time to get a run in, nomally 2 or 3 miles. I have started to run on a treadmill @ a 3.0 incline and just go at a slower pace. Really seems to be a better workout.
Excited to start week 3 and really feel like I can push myself hard than the first two. I have done all the routines at least twice and know the form or each set and don't have to watch the screen as much so I can really focus on quality form. I have another reserve weekend coming up so I have to find a way to get my workouts in at the hotel again, but i will bring my bands with me if I have to.
My home computer had some issues so I didn't get my pics up but I haven't forgot. I will try again tonight. I saw that some have had trouble posting thiers adn was wondering if there is a good way to do. I will taking them right off my camara. Thanks for everyones help and support. Keep pushing yourselves to the limits and beyond.

If you have office 2003/2007, there is a program called Office Picture manager. In there, you can format the pics for posting on the web. It cuts them down to size so you can post.

Week 3 day 1 Back/Chest/abs
Not bad at all. Loved the fact that I keep good form and comnpleted all the workouts. I haven't had my reps increase so much but I am still on week 3. Used the suggestion from a couple of you on pulls ups. Maxed out without help and then used the chair on the up and down on my own slowly. I was so tired after the last dive bombers and cool down that I found the abs came on automaticly. Call me crazy but I have also swapped out to the other DVD. No one laugh. Still like to see some others post thier pics eaither on the pic thread or under thier profile, really keeps me to my workouts adn makes me push that much harder because my 30 day pis I want you all to see the hard work I am putting in. Keep it up everyone and again welcome to all the new passengers on this train.

Week 3 Day 2 - Plyo
Love it, Love it, And really Love it. I just can't get enough of this workout. I used a heart rate monitor last night and knew exactly when I needed to push myself or slow down, Kept my HR @ about 160. I will never do any cardio without one again. Getting ready to do my shoulders/arms this morning, going to seek away from work and try this at the gym, and then do abs tonight. Not sure how well I will do in the gym without Tony talking the whole time but I think I remember the forms and I got my worksheet to guide me thought it, wish me luck.

Good luck using the gym, make sure you keep the same intensity, try to keep your entire workout under the hour with warmup cool down too, this plays alot into the failure drills and muscle fatigue...if you allow too much time in between, the muscles wont maintain their pump. Have Fun.

Got back from the gym and man I didn't know what I was missing. I did shoulders and arm with heavier weights and really loved it. My reps increased because I was so pumped up and I had my IPOD playing music. The one thing I wish I would have reviewed a couple of exercises because my mind went blank when I did Deep Swimmers Press, and two-angled shoulder flys. I still did shoulder exercises but not sure if they were the right ones. I still did the there exercises and repeated them. Man do I feel great. Had my recovery drink after I ran a mile for a little extra. I keep it under the hour limit but wasn't sure that I got the best cool down but I am back at work and still have a lot of work to do and that will help strech out. Thanks to everyone and keep it up. GO TO THE GYM ONCE IN AWHILE.

Got Yoga tonight after work. I have another reserve weekend so I have to find a way to do legs/back out of a hotel with no gym. I didn't bring my pull up bar so I might just swap that with kempo so I will be at my house for the pull ups and be able to use my weights. I am really thinking about buying some of those adjustable weights because I feel great today after my gym experence yesterday and really want to push my self and gain as much muscle as possible. I just don't want to spend $300. I do want to be able to go to 50-60 Lbs though. Any ideas anyone??

heh.. I've been saving 50$ a week and trying my best no to drive unless I really need too. And Im gunna buy those select tech 1090s 10-90lbs. Would be just like have a full gym set. If I really ever needed too I could buy heavier weights but I'd rather up the reps if I ever get to 90lbs

Well the weekend is over. I didn't get a single workout out in and am very down on myself. I just had to much to do at work and couldn't get my energy up to workout in my hotel room. I did however eat well and stuck to my diet so I think that helped. I noticed that on Sunday my legs were cramping up real bad, not sure if it was from lack of water or if they were craving a workout and pissed off at me for being lazy. Today is normally a rest day but I have had enough of that. I am supposed to start my rest week but I am going to push that off for a week cause I will be on vacation in Myrtle Beach starting on Friday so I thin I will do one extra week of Phase on and recovery next week with the cardio stuff on the beach.
I was also informed this weekend that I will be deploying in the end of May for just over a month and am not real sure if I will be able to work out that well where I am going. That should be my third phase and what would be my day 90 will now be the day I return. Not real happy I have to go cause I will miss all the outdoor stuff this summer with my daughter but gotta do what I gotta do. I know that I will br very active while I am away and the heat will be hotter that Addicts garage after a Ply work out so I will just have to adjust to cardio while there and fit in as mush as I remember from the workouts, I know the pushups and pullups. I am still going to push myself as much as possible and will not miss another day until I leave.
Glad to here everyone is pushing themselves, keep it up, then one day we can all look like addict.

I feel your disappointment! I just had my first drill weekend on the plan, @ end of 2nd week. I was pretty disappointed because the gym on the base closed @ 4pm and the nearby base's gym closed at 5pm on Saturday and we didn't get cut loose until 5pm. I was supposed to do legs/back on Saturday. The hotel I was staying in didn't have decent facilities, a couple of treadmills and no room to do the exercises. The base I drill on is pretty small and I couldn't find a pull-up station anywhere, I had hoped I could just do the leg stuff outside sans weights and use a pull-up bar.
I ended up bagging it for the day but did the workout when I got home on Sunday evening. Today is supposed to be the rest day but I'll do the kenpo tonight and start wk3 tomorrow.
I've been using a power tower at home for the pullups but may have to buy a bar so I can use it on drill weekends. Of course, we're in the field so much it may not be worth it. Kind of hard to hook it up to a tent!
I'm definitely looking at hitting the gym a few times a week for the very reason you cited. Plus I'm used to working out at lunchtime so it would be more convenient to do it during the day. I'm gonna wait another week or two before doing so though, just so I have the proper form down since I won't have the video to refer to if I get lost. Might be a good excuse to dump my old iPod mini and get a new video nano though!
