That's a fantastic idea, rodney! I'm going to start using weights for Kenpo, but I never even thought about ARX with weights.

Wife and I have been sick with a cold from RSV, brutal. She's over it now, I'm "down in it." We shifted our off day from Sunday to the first of the week instead, to help with that...still haven't missed a day. Plyo with this cold was HARD yesterday, wow. And on Tuesday, the chest and back exercises were welcomed back! I had been doing my pullups off of one toe for the first two phases, so they were all marked as assisted. From here on out, they are all dangling.

To my surprise, I was knocking out several of them when expecting to do one or two...not to my surprise, I'm paying dearly for that as I'm incredibly sore right now in the chest. OMG, even light pressure hurts and it is two days later. But I'm proud of all those pullups.

There is now nothing I "can't" do in this program, as I've also knocked out Dreya rolls, plough to shoulder stand, and even a wobbly, curse-laden version of twisting half moon.

Almost there!!!! Posted this in the Jan 4 thread too.

We had to shift this last week out a bit, so instead of an off day on day 90, we'll have our last workout.

Very happy with my results, but also kind of bummed that I didn't get quite where I wanted to be. I look and feel great, but I'm at the point where there are some stubborn parts hiding my abs, and I need to kick up some cardio to finish off. Healthwise I'm in outstanding shape now, loving it.

The diet isn't the hard part anymore, it's the exercise for me (actually, just the time commitment). Carving out the time has been the biggest challenge, by far. The diet is now second nature, though I've ate clean for the most part anyway, just a lot more than needed.

Anyone else feeling unmotivated this last week? I thought I'd be gung ho with the end so close, but these last few workouts seem to be the last thing I want to do. I really want to just go outside, go swimming, get some sun, etc. Not 90 minutes of Yoga.

After this is over, we train 2 weeks for a 4.2 mile run (Pat's Run) then a couple of weeks of downtime, then I plan to start P180X, which I made up. Basically we will do a second round of this, but extend each week into two weeks, so only 3 workouts a week. Hopefully that will help us continue to maintain/increase strength, slowly gain some more results, but also get part of our general life back instead of a nightly dedication to working out. It has been very tough, with 3 kids (9, 6 and 3) and a busy schedule, to workout every night...but we've done it.

Haven't done final measurements or pics yet, but I am down 25 lbs from the start, lots of inches and I know I added muscle all over. On the last legs and back pullups workout, I narrowly missed my goal of doing more than 100 dangling pullups (did 96) but hit my goal of doing double digit pullups on all 8 times. That's a monster improvement from the first week where I couldn't do double digits on them starting from a hop, and didn't even try a full dangle.
