TOPIC: Day 45

Over the hump. Kenpo really rocked me for some reason yesterday.

So far I've gone from 195 to 172.

My goal is to end around 160 ( +- 5 lbs )

45 more days to push harder than I did the last 45


So far I've not followed the diet at all, not tracked calories, or kept track of my ratios. Here is what I have done.

1: I drink ONLY water with the occasional Odwalla in the morning or Chocolate Milk recovery
2: I buy the PARTY platters of veggies. They are precut and almost always on sale. ( usually last me 4-5 days for $10 )
3: Limit 1 sandwich per 3-4 days for carbs
4: Find a protein source each day no matter what. Egg while omelet, chicken, beef, something
5: Small meals more frequently

I've cheated 3-4 times in the 45 days so far. One morning I ate a bacon egg and cheese from Mcdonalds, one afternoon I had a cheeseburger and macaroni salad made with mayo.

I think this is more the 'average' dude way of doing p90x. I've lost over 20 lbs in 45 days so I'm far from discouraged. What I do to supplement my cheat days is bring it HARD. If I eat bad, I'm going to do my workout twice as hard and maybe hit the gym for a 25 min run.

Great job, man! Stay tough now. It's easy to get complacent at this juncture and be happy with what you've done. Keep going!
