Alright guys. chillax, please. There's no need for foul language. Consider it a warning. Please no more. You can argue all you want and healthy debate is what we want on the boards, but please do not curse.

What are your goals? What do you want out of P90X? Give us your diet exactly (everything you ate in the past week should be fine)? Are you doing Classic, Doubles, Lean?

Nutrition is more than half of the battle. Most people who begin P90X are not used to eating healthy, you have to get used to it first. It isn't fun, but it eventually becomes what you crave.

I have to disagree with the notion that V8 is crap. It is not as good a real veggies, I completely agree with that. However, on days that you forget (like me...I forgot to cook extra veggies last night for lunch today), V8 is an okay substitute. You don't want to drink it every day for your vegetable servings, but every once in a while is okay.

The formula is pretty easy, really. Low fat (healthy only), no simple carbs (to begin with), high protein, high veggies, minimal fruits...you will see results. It is that simple.

Okay, it's not that simple. Fresh fruit and vegetables is expensive, especially lately. You can buy frozen broccoli in big bags at the grocery store, chicken breasts are affordable. If you are going to eat carbs, eat complex carbs. Egg whites are an excellent source of protein in the morning. Snack on almonds and othe rhealthy snacks. The easiest thing to remember about the grocery store is to stay out of the middle. Only stay on the outside ring of the store. That is where all the healthy stuff is.

Bring it every single day. Even if you are sore, do SOMETHING!

In reference to your picture...you look like you have a good base for P90X. You dont' have a TON of extra fat around your midsection and elsewhere. you are in decent shape. Stick with the program, eat CLEAN, BRING IT every single day, and watch your body transform. Stay off the scale. Only worry about how you feel, not how much you weigh.

If you need any help with cheap diet ideas, just ask on the nutrition board. Read through the nutrition guide first, it will tell you everything you need to know. If you have particlar questions, ask way.

Glad you deleted the guys last post. That was about as ugly as it gets around here. Surprised there's any tolerance for guys like this on the forum or language that is waaay out of line.

Wow you ask for help and get some responses. These responses are not to your liking so you start insulting other people's hard work?

Anyone else think there should be a mental fitness test along with a physical fitness test for P90X?
