I dont know guys and girls. I was hoping to see more on day 30. Everyone else has put it out there so I guess I can too.




Hope these pictures show up.

Some stats to go with the pictures.

Body fat % went down to 19% from 22%

Chest I lost a 1/4 of inch. Waist I lost a whole inch. Hips I lost a 1/2 inch. Right thigh incresed in size 3/4 of an inch. Left thigh incresed a 1/4 of an inch. Both arms increased 1/2 inch.

So, I am not sure what to think. I obviously am losing some of the fat around the mid section but I am also losing weight which was not my intention. I just want to get rid of the mid section fat and build more muscle. Especially in the chest shoulders and arms. I am going to try eating more this phase and see what happens. Any suggestions are welcome.

Do you get enough protein in your diet? I've supplemented mine with whey protein powder. I'm a big guy and I need about 140 gm of protein per day in my diet. You usually need about 1 gm per kg of body weight daily to maintain your protein stores. If you're not getting quite as much protein you may not build quite as much muscle mass.

Also, I didn't build much muscle during the first 30 days. That second 30 days really shows up. So if your diet is okay it may just be a matter of time.

Thanks Kevin. I think you may be onto something. I am trying to follow the portion plan of the P90x guide but I have been kind of loosely tracking it. I am going to start really keeping a log of all of my intake and make sure I am getting enough protein. Thanks a lot for the advice.
