Thanks guys, I had very strict nutrition, I had 4 reward dinners during the entire 90days, i did occasionally drink some red wine, i live in the napa valley. I ate lots of veggies, you can eat a ton, they are great for you and have very little calories. No breads, starches or processed carbs, about every 2 to 3 weeks I would have a cup of uncooked pasta and .5 cup of pasta sauce. I ate some fruit mostly apples and bananas in my protein shakes. No supplements or recovery drink. GNC Whey Protein and pure protein bars. Chicken, turkey breast, egg whites, salmon, tuna, steak occasional (higher in fat). I was supposed to eat about 2700 calories and I never came close, i averaged about 1600. My diet did not really change the entire 90 days. I found a good calorie count where I felt good, had energy and was not hungry. I used dailyplate on
www.livestrong.com to count calories. Counting is very important and keeping the ratios correct. I targeted 50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat phase I and 40 40 20 phase II and III.
Nutrition is purely mental that is the only tip I can give you. If you eat lots of veggies you will curb hunger. Mind over matter, the workouts are easy 1hr, the diet is all day everyday. If you can get to mid point of phase II you will see major changes and then you will be addicted.
Thanks again for all the complements. Not bad for a 38 year old. Bring it.
