hi people im gonna be starting the p90x on monday 21st and ive got all the bits but im really lazy when it comes to cooking, i looked at the plan already made out but i dont have alot of money to but salmon and fancy stuff i would rather just eat ham slices and stuff. do you have to have the proiein bars and recovery drinks?? any help please??

no u dont have to have it, its recommended but you dont have to, and yes u can use the portion part and pick the foods u like, like hame, turkey, chicken, but i highly recommend protein shake. Those will help you get more proteins over carb and are a good supplement, but dont forget. log onto fitday.com its free. and make sure ur protien to carb to fat ratio is exactly like the diet says. 50 proteins 30 carbs and 20 fats. Its easy but u will get used to it

What do you mean by 50 proteins 30 carbs and 20 fats? What is the 50? How many grams is 50% of a daily diet?

go onto fitday.com make a user. Note how many servings of each proteins you need. fill out ur day. and at the bottom it will tell u how many % of each u have, and equal it out to 50 30 20

Han Solo....I believe he doesn't understand your question. By 50,30,20 percent, it's percentage of calories of your total calorie intake. If you are taking in 2400 calories, then 50% is 1200 calories--30=720, and 20=480 calories. Don't go by grams, go by calories.
