Because of money issues I decided to stop taking protein bars as a snack and make myself a protein shake with one scoop body fortress vanilla why and one cup low fat vanilla soy milk instead. Thats a 32g of protein per shake

This is what I eat

Breakfast: 4 oz oatmeal made with water and 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
2 egg whites with one slice part skim mozzarella and one slice turkey bacon

Snack 1: Protein shake and 1oz string cheese(part skim mozzarella)

Lunch: 1 can of tuna with 1 1/2 tbsp miracle whip, a little chopped onion, a little chopped tomato, and I toss it all into a big bowl of salad.
Apple

Snack 2: Same as first snack

Dinner: Usually some sort of fish with sauteed vegies

Snack 3: Apple or something small

I feel like im taking in too much protein. Can someone help me please?

for intense body builders it's like 1.5 grams per lb of body weight. For this program I'd say 1 gram per pound of body weight..if your going for size and strength.

Try that....and if you feel like you need more then you can supplement at night with Casein and if that's still not enough then add Whey Isolate first thing in the morning.

I started at 185 in Mid March. I'm now about 174.

I was taking Whey Isolate in the morning....mid morning snack....pre work out, Whey Isolate/Casein post work out, and Casein right before bed in addition to all my other meals. I felt that was a little much so I cut out the morning serving for right now.

That's just me. If your trying to shred body fat pretty fast...that might be a little much for right now. I'd go by what the nutritional guide says and just add a post workout Whey Isolate/Casein and carb post workout drink to it. Your body has different nutritional needs after an intense workout than it does the rest of the day.

ummmmmm.......I'm brand new here. I'm quite sure, judging from the way most...if not all the people who bought legitimate copies of p90x seem, that they would not look to kindly on me helping someone who bought a boot leg copy without all the materials in it when they had to fork out a lot more money. I can understand their position. I don't want to make others mad at me...being the new guy and all.

I will say....the use of "google" will help you immensely though. That's how many find out information about nutrition, body building and burning fat.

I wouldn't repeat too often on here that you don't have the guide books if you want others to help you. That's probably the very best advice you'll get.

One gram per pound does not seem to add up and seems way overkill. Excessive protein can cause toxic buildup and have adverse effects.

www.medscape.com/viewarticle/414351

Although the measurement is in kilograms. There are 0.45 kilograms per pound. I weigh 165 so in kilograms i am 72 Kg.

For body building the guide says 1.4 to 1.8 per kilo. Now although we are body building. We are not doing a high intense body building routine. More of an intense rounded out workout. We are not bench pressing, weighted squats, dead lifts, ect... So that would be a little high.

Every nutritionist and sports doctors I talk to say about 0.5 grams of protein per pound per day for this kind of workout. Online sources are great but everyone varies and never seem that reliable.

But however way you want to approach is up to you.
