ok now I have a question. 3 Months ago Karma: 0
After reading through some of these posts I am gathering that it is recomended in the program to use some sort of protein bar or recovery drink. I do not have my system yet so I have not read what is neccesary. I do hope to start ASAP when it arrives, so can you all point me in the right direction as to what I need to go get for the first week? As I said in my inro thread in the begining section, I am a mother of 4 so indeed times are tight, and cost is a big factor.

I would definitely suggest the recovery drink. I also take a protein bar right after my workout, then eat some tuna or something high in protein. It pretty much depends on what your goals are, if it's to lose weight, the recovery drink alone is good. If its to gain muscle, the recovery drink along with protein supplements is good. No matter what though I'd get the recovery drink, its purpose is to give your muscles the right vitamins and nutrients to recover quickly and not be sore the next day. Hope this helps.

You can also take a look at the recipe section of the forum. I posed a great recovery drink recipe that costs me pennies a day to make. I hear the recovery drink is also a great option, but I have not tried it.
