Crystal Light? 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Is it possible to drink Crystal Light (often) during the 90 days training?
I'm not a water fan but there has been some improvements in my water intake during these hard training days and mostly during the night...
I was verifying the nutrition facts of the crystal light and it only has 5 calories, 0 fat, no sugar, etc etc..

Is it allowed?
Thanks in advance!!!

Sorry, This is my second week of traning and I have been behaving! I just want some flavor in the water from time to time

Just to comment about the water portion of your post....you really, really need to have stronger will power about drinking more water. I'd say at least a gallon a day. It helps in so many different areas.

I understand it's hard, but I was a HUGE pepsi drinker. I sit on my butt all day at the railroad and I used to drink 3, 4, 5 cans a day...every day. Breaking that habit was quite difficult. However, once you get used to water, a LOT of water...then it's quite easy. I'd really encourage you to at least drink double the amount of water as you do the other beverages you drink. Hopefully you can kick that sugar rush one day like I did.

Forget about the nutrition facts, it's pointless. You should drink water instead anyway.

The problem with Crystal light is the aspartame which is incredibly bad for you. Taking in a little aspartame here and there isn't a big deal but the amount you would consume if you drink a large volume of Crystal Light is very bad. I would just try to drink water or you can make tea. Just try to avoid too much caffeine and considering the amount of options that shouldn't be to hard.

Thanks Rodney,
I guess I needed someone to point out that I need a lot of water than I'm doing now... :-/ Hopefully I can get used to it...

Luckybear, I heard about aspartame too, and I know its bad~
I bought the 100% natural tea to try.. Don't know yet if I'll keep drinking it afterwards..

Thanks for your advice guys

Well it's not just that it is bad. It actually interrupts weight loss so it can be very counter productive to your goals.. Goodluck either way. Hope the tea works!

I had the same problem when I first started. I started dieting before I started the p90x. I would literally drink a 12pk of mt dew everyday so it was very hard for me and I sometimes would feel like the water made my stomach hurt and feel bloated. I started with a goal every week. My first week my goal was to drink 1 liter of water per day, by the end of my first week I was drinking 3 or 4 liters a day after the first day or two you will realize how much better you'll feel just drinking the water. If you really want some flavor you could drop a slice of lemon and/or lime in the bottle.
