Hi everyone. I just received my P90X today. I am trying to layout my meals and how I plan on doing them. It is pretty complicated because I have a weird schedule.

I wake up at 4am. I commute 2 hours for my job. So I start working around 7am and work until 5pm. I get home around 7:30pm. We usually have dinner around 8pm.

My plan was to do P90X after we put the kids down for bed (8:30pm). What would be the best way to distribute the calories through the day. It's not your typical 8hour day like I see most plans being based off of. I just want to make sure they make meals aren't split apart to long that could jeopardize the nutrition plan. I am on the level II nutrition level at my current weight.

I also wanted to make my meals simpler. I am not interested in complex meals, I like quick, except maybe for dinner. I can mix things around from the fat shredder food list just as long as I keep my servings correct and my calories under 600/per meal. Could I maybe steal some from breakfast and lunch to maybe create an evening snack to carry me through to dinner?

I hope you understand what I am trying to ask you

No? Nothing?

Can anyone point me to any resources that may help? I am looking for more of a budgeted, but successful way of following the diet.

If you take some time to browse through the rest of the posts on the forum, you should be able to find the information you need.

It's all about planning ahead and being prepared. The healthiest foods for you have little to no prepartion time, like grilled chicken or vegetables, raw fruit, cottage cheese, egg whites. You can make all your food for a week and just portion it out into tupperware or bags.

I highly recommend you use a site like FitDay.com or Dailyburn.com

Track all your food. You can input everything and see what your ratios are. I know it is boring, but if you eat the same things for a week or even for the first 30 days, you cannot go wrong.

I have no problem eating the same thing as long as I like it, . I have been eating the same 2 meals every other day for lunch the past 1.5yrs at work. Soup one day, Tai Pei frozen meal the next then repeat.

I am concerned on how I should handle my meals. From the time I will be waking up till the time I will be home and ready to start working out will be 17-18hrs. I was wondering how I could spread my meals out for that time span. I know your supposed to keep you meals 2hrs apart. The p90X nutrition plan seems to be based off a 10hr day.

Well, I started my 50/30/20 L2 today. This is hard to get it to the ratio but I think I didn't do too bad? Lunch is my next meal, but I have the rest of the day planned out. I was low on protein, high in carbs so I threw in 2 scoops of whey for dinner time, is this OK?

It seems like carbs are the hardest to keep down but I'm sure after doing the diet I will learn the right formulas.

How does this look?
