Hmm seems like a good bar. If I were you I would compare them both ingredient wise. For me this seems like a good substitute for my usual breakfast. Plus I usually eat all those ingredients for my breakfast except for the peanut butter, syrup and cinnamon. I like to keep it simple with out the xtra unnecessary calories.

The only thing I would cut back would be the peanut butter and the syrup or not add the syrup at all. I think I will try it today after work lol. I will let you know how it is Good find by the way.

Well I made this last night and let me just say by tasting it when mixed it tasted pretty good. It reminded be of a reese's peanut butter cup. The whey mixed I have is chocolate flavored.

I modified it a little to suit me better. I didn't add any syrup and did about 1 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter. I also added some raisins instead of the apple/banana mixture. The end product wasn't as pretty as the video. The reason why is because I added too much water and it didn't harden well even after overnight refrigeration. What happened was on the video he said 1 cup of water so i just poured it all in. But i forgot that he said add it slowly and he didn't really use 1 cup. Anyways i just used a spoon and scooped a nice portion for a quick breakfast today. Really really good. Next batch will be perfect yum yum.

So in all this recipe is good because it incorporates all the ingredients I usually eat in the morning, but now in a nice convenient bar for on the go. thumbs up for me. Just remember to go easy on the peanut butter and syrup if adding it:D

I made them and theyre really good but the whole making and cutting is so boring. Should I just start eating these or stick to the Pure Protein bars?

Note: This is what I eat every day

Breakfast

Snack: Protein Bar and 1oz cheese stick

Lunch

Snack 2: Protein Bar and 1 oz cheese stick

Dinner

How about mixing in some veggies or fruits. If thats what your eating everyday then it can get very boring. I mix fruits, veggies, nuts, yogurt, cheese, etc to my daily nutrition. Try to change it up every now and then.

As far as which protein bar to take, whatever you like. If the whole mixing it up is too much and boring then get the already made bars. Both are the same stuff as far as protein content. I just like making it because 1. its easy 2. its cheaper and 3. I get to control what i put in it. Again its all about mixing it up. Add raisins to the mix maybe almonds instead of peanuts etc. Hope this helps.
