Recently I've been getting hungry way faster than normal. I'm about 6'1" 170lbs, 10 pounds down from a few months ago with a bit of muscle added. I used to be able to eat about 1700-1800 calories of clean food over 3 or so meals, plus a few snacks in between, and feel full for long periods (although I sometimes would eat past the full point out of lack of self control). Lately I've been eating more small meals over the day, about 200-400 calories at a time. At first I didn't notice any differences, but in the last couple weeks especially I haven't been able to go more than 1.5-2 hours without getting hunger pains.

Even when I eat bigger meals of about 500-600 calories, I still can't make it much longer than that before feeling extremely hungry again. I'm eating a lot of foods full of protein and/or fiber like chicken, egg whites, whole grain bread, whole grain tortillas, 99% fat free turkey slices, lowfat/fat free cheeses, fruit, carrots, broccoli, etc. Is this amount of hunger a good thing (i.e. faster metabolism), or could it be a problem? If anything I'm even buring less calories than before through exercise and I'm still struggling to keep my intake below 2300-2400 calories. Should I be fine as long as I'm only eating out of hunger and never eating until I'm stuffed?

Whatever the case, it's kind of funny that I now wake up and have to plan out my meals for the day so I don't get stranded without food.

Got a pic? 6'1 and 170 seems a bit on the low side to me. Im 6'2 and 192 (down 8 since in the first phase) and I think 185 is the MINIMUM I want to be at if even that low.

I'm not underweight if that's what you're asking. I still have a little stubborn abdominal fat to get rid of before I can actually see the results of ARX.

Just means your mastering the workouts which means your able to perform them better which exerts you more. Just keep raise the cals until your not hungry anymore but dont have the full feeling. Happens to a lot of people later on in the program.
