Alright, is this a good breakfast 10 Months ago Karma: 1
Half a cup of oatmeal(serving size) mixed with 3/4 cups reduced fat vanilla soy milk and a couple drizzles sugar free maple syrup(serving size is 1/4 cup)
4 egg whites mixed with one slice low moisture part skim mozzarella cheese

Roughly 380 calories and a lot of protein!

Is this a good breakfast?

Are you following the nutrition guide at all? You are still in the first 30 days, right? If so, you should be eating HIGH protein, LOW carb. As in 1 serving of carbs PER DAY. Oatmeal is FULL of carbs. A better breakfast for phase 1 would be (depending on which calorie level you are on) 8-10 egg white omelette with low fat mozzarella cheese, and 2 slices of turkey bacon.
Your snack is ok, and lunch/dinner should follow the same suit as breakfast. More meat and veggies, no sauces, bread or potatoes.

Oatmeal doesn't come in to the meal plan until Phase III.

Oatmeal is listed in the phase 1 diet. It says you can have 1 cup. I realize Im a beginner but I think that is a great breakfast. I have been eating either 1 cup of oatmeal or 1 cup of cereal in the morning with a piece of fruit. I think your doing great....but what do I know. Good Luck!!!

Im trying to eat what kilimatic from youtube ate throughout his whole 90 days just for the fact that he got AMAZING results. We're both level 1 and everything and im on day 40.

Is a half cup of oats per day really gonna mess me up? geez

I don't think it will. I eat 1 serving of oatmeal everyday since I started P90x and so far that hasn't hindered my results one bit. Just be careful what you put in it. I eat it straight up. Microwave it with water mixed with banana slices yummy. The natural sweetness plus the texture of the banana make it perfect.

However I did watch what carbs I ate later in the day. I pretty much did not eat any rice, pasta, breads etc for the 1st 30 days. Now I do eat it, but in moderation still. I def take in more protein than carbs thats for sure.

Btw I do have the nutrition guide, but I don't use it .

Good! haha well based on your pictures

Ok heres today. I really dont think this was bad at all!!

Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal made with 3/4 cup low fat vanilla soy milk and a couple drizzles sugar free syrup. 4 egg whites with one slice part skim mozzarella cheese

Snack 1: Pure protein bar, 1oz part skim mozzarella stick

Lunch: Big old bowl of salad. A bunch of lettuce, some baby tomatoes and some shredded carrots. One apple

Snack 2: Same as snack 1

Dinner: Bowl of ajiaco. Soup made with water, one envelope of ajiaco mix, chicken and veggies. Very good!

Snack 3 after workout: Protein shake made with 1 scoop body fortress vanilla whey protein and one cup low fat vanilla soy milk.

I also had 5 grapes later on at night

Water the whole day.

PLEASE tell me this wasnt bad

Try to follow the nutrition guide but if not its all based on how your body handles things. As you go through the program you will find out what works for you.
