I'm a cook and my schedule is kind of crazy, sometimes I don't get home until 10-11pm and haven't had all of my nutrition for the day. I'm using FitDay and have been pretty close to the 50/30/20 (only wavering a little i.e. 47/32/21). I know FitDay isn't the end all be all of accuracy. I also know that you should wait at least 3 hrs after eating before bed. So I'm wondering if I'm damaging my results or the system if I'm eating breakfast in the morning, working out, going to work (trying to eat something there but don't always have time) then cramming in some last minute calories when I come home at night. I try to wait 3hrs before bed after the last thing I've eaten. So I'm still following most of the rules but on my own schedule which is extremely different from others. Will I still have the results?

B4e5n, do what you can, you have a weird schedule, just try to eat more during the day. Prepared stuff before work. Preparation is the key to successful eating.

Thanks, thats what I figured I guess I'm wondering if anyone has done p90x with a crazy schedule. I'm just doint what is best for me and am already seeing results. I'm just happy with actually working out again instead of watching tv and junk...

that is good, just give it all uve got. If u bring ur hardest during workouts and eat very strictly on your diet, u will be almost garunteed results after 90 days

Hi B4e5n,
I too have a really weird schedule - in that I don't get home until after 11PM. I struggle with the same things that you mention. I know when I get home, many nights, I have not eaten enough. I will make a salad with all vegis, maybe a little turkey - no cheese and very little salad dressing. I'm only on day 28 or so and I'm seeing some really good results. I know my diet is not optimal and I really plan to start preparing better as I go into phase 2. |

I have a weird schedule too. I go into work at 3pm and dont get home until 3 or 4am. Ive found that preparing food and bringing it with me has really helped. I usually get up around noon so I can try to get my 8hrs of sleep in, do my workout and eat breakfast at home. I take lunch and dinner and snacks with me to work. Luckily I have a flexible job and can eat when I want to.
