I'm a 25 year old female who has played ice hockey for over 10 years now but have struggled with my weight since I was 15. I've tried everything from diets to workout programs to whatever else is on the market and came across INSANITY from a friend who has been doing it for a month now. I'm looking to lose 35 lbs at least of body fat. I am more muscular than the average girl haha but I'd like to trim the fat. Any young women out there with some feedback on the program? Just want some messages of encouragement (not to shut out the guys too haha). Any feedback would be appreciated!!

im with ya, girl! i am "big boned and muscular" haha. 30 lbs to go till im back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 155, and i was pretty thin and toned then, so we'll see. i just started on monday, and its tough as hell, but im getting through it, my moms actually doing it too, and shes getting through it, so you can too!just know you've got some people with you on the journey pushing through!

i'm glad i joined this forum so i wouldn't be alone haha. good to hear it's addicting and i know i'll be addicted as soon as i start. i've been hounding UPS to see when it's coming and i haven't even started yet!! i'll keep you posted on results and such and any advice you have please feel free to throw it at me. keep working hard and tell your mom i'm impressed!!

dont really have any advice other than go at your own pace. there is NO keeping up with those crazy ppl. as long as you go in knowing that, you'll be fine. and take breaks when you need to, not just when they give you 30 seconds here and there. i need more water breaks than that so i take them.

Try your best and forget the rest. Dont stop and take as many breaks as you need. You will lose the weight and dont be afraid to eat, you will need it. I am on week 2 and I have lost four pounds.
