Hi. I just started Insanity this morning. Wow! I thought I was in better shape than I am. I had a hard time making it through the Fit Test. I'm looking forward to seeing how my numbers improve.

Did Day 2 this morning and it was really rough. I couldn't move nearly as fast as they do and so I kept getting behind on the pushup, knees in, jump up, combination.

No soreness yet, but I have a feeling I won't be saying that tomorrow when I wake up.

You'll definitely feel sore later this week! It's great!

Those combinations are killer and I still struggle through them near the end. Initially, don't worry about trying to go at their speed - as you'll read in many places, those people have done the whole routine at least once, and even they need to take breaks. To coin a phrase from P90X, do your best and forget the rest! keep pushing your body at your speed, if you can go faster, go faster, if you can't, go as fast as you can.

Enjoy the Cardio Recovery tomorrow!

Hey All. I'm kind of at a crossroads of choosing between insanity or p90x. I have been a college basketball player for four years now but my career ended last week when we lost in the big dance. I love working out and plan to do so for the rest of my life. The last 6 months I have thought seriously about P90x and how I wanted to do it whenever I was done with basketball but when we were at our tournament I saw introduced to Insanity because I watched endless infomercials about it. Like I said I'm in good shape and pretty happy with my body, but I want to take it to the next level. Basically what I'm asking is what do you all recommend or do you have any suggestions?
